Hi all,
I am in need of serious help. I started in IM a few years ago, and my son started a little while ago. He has amazing stats, (to me they're amazing), but no sales. I make average a sale for every 20 or 30 clicks, so it makes no sense to me. He is marketing through Youtube, and is making money with adsense, and his views on youtube are great.

his youtube is WoWThundahunta

I tried to take a screenshot of his CB stats.

The only thing I can think of is that they are clicking the links thinking it is more free info?

I hope someone can help - this is frustrating to say the least!
Thank you all in advance,
~Haze

PS)) sorry I couldn't figure out how to take a screenshot of the cb stats

Clickbank makes me crazy. I have had lots of clicks not register, I have had sales over the years for stuff I have not really promoted and it seems that I will convert the same review at 1 per 40 clicks all the way to 1 per 200 clicks. It seems like their stats ignore you and then like you.

Really though, no idea about that niche but I can imagine that it is probably a terrible one if it cannot convert 1 for 1100

I have not had such a good experience with Click Bank specifically how
the company is tracking clicks. Sometimes, it's just wacky.

Maybe you should look into CPA or PPL as there is a good
chance that there is some offers that pertain to the channel's niche.

  • 1100 clicks and no sales is nothing unusual. Especially when jumping from YouTube videos showing free video game strategies to sales pages offering $27/month subscription offers and other video game guides he is promoting showing similar stuff.

Allot of those kids know where to get similar info being offered on clickbank, for free. This may have something to do with the lack of sales.

I suggest sending the YouTube traffic to an optin list first, instead of straight to CB sales pages, and then following up with more free info and product offerings. This way he will have more of an opportunity to build a better relationship with his audience, and eventually possibly turn some of those potential leads into customers.

  • Haze,

From how I understand what you mentioned in your post -- Your son is taking his Youtube viewers straight to the sales pages of his affiliate Clickbank products, correct?

If so, then ask your son to instead take his Youtube viewers to an opt-in page in his website. This opt-in page should provide your son's Youtube viewers with a beneficial downloadable offer in exchange for their first names and emails (or even mobile numbers). This beneficial offer can be software or an ebook or a video and so on that's relevant to the specific niche needs of his Youtube viewers. Why?

Instead of losing those 1,000 or so Youtube viewers, your son would most likely be able to build a mailing list of prospects that he can establish a friendly relationship with and from time to time promote relevant affiliate products and / or his own products for the long term.

Also help your son in implementing retargeting code into his opt-in page. This is so your son can launch advertising campaigns that target people who have already seen his opt-in page but have not opted in.

    Hope this helps...

Yup, totally agree with Marx comment about capturing the email addresses. That way even if they don't buy directly from Clickbank he still has a potential customer to email offers to .
