Any tips on how to create Scarcity for an info product?

Does anyone have any tips on how to create scarcity when selling an info product. I have an online ecourse in development and I want to create scarcity, but with another method besides telling people that the ecourse would be closing for good if they don't sign up. I thought of doing maybe a dime sale starting at $27 for my product in the niche I will be marketing to, but that's the only idea I have so far.

Why do you want to make it scarce? Is it really scarce or just a marketing tactic? Are you going to limit it to a certain number of sales?

You don't have to threaten to close it down for good - but you can have a special launch price, after which (a week or so) it jumps much higher.

Those types of scarcity generate a lot of sales on the last day (so it's highly important to market heavily at the end).

Another tactic is to create an early-bird bonus for the first _____ buyers. And after that threshold is reached, really take the bonus away. (Some ideas can be email access to you, the product creator, a special Q&A webinar, or something else of value.)

You can always have a counter, that goes by IP, and ticks down giving 24 hours or the price will double or no longer be available [Auto-redirects to another page of your choice] e.g a Downsell at half off, with a 12 hour counter etc etc.

Optimize press has this feature built in, and so does salespress pro.

A dimesale doesn't create scarcity, it's designed to create urgency. The best way to create scarcity is to limit the number of items you're going to sell and have a counter script that ticks down to the last one. And when they're gone, they're gone forever, right?

Just sell the product. Don't worry about scarcity. I promise you that if people don't buy from you, it won't be because you didn't add scarcity in your offer.

If it's a good product that people want there is no need for "tricks."

Using scarcity with a front end (customer acquisition) offer is rarely a good idea.
