Basically, I know a guy who sells electronic devices such as Apple devices, games consoles and other expensive devices for DIRT CHEAP. LITERALLY! He's selling an iPhone 5s 64gb for £150.
I was wondering if the idea is legit because why would someone sell such devices for so little prices? I asked him about their legitimacy and he says they are real. I was just wondering if I should buy them off him and sell them for a higher price.

What do you think?

    1. They might be some China made- devices which are branded but don't work as good as their original counterparts.

    2. They might be original but smuggled.

Either way, they should not be patronized. There's a price to pay for those.
    Just my 2 cents.

There is always the chance they are also returns.
I know you can get these phones for dirt cheap if they are damaged.
So if you are handy with a soldering gun and can get your hands on the
parts needed for cheap you could make a buck from this, but just to be
in the clear I would sell them as restored.

I know a guy that buys flat screen tv's in bulk for DIRT CHEAP, restores
them and sells them for half the price and he's making a good living from it.

Just as long as you are clear on what your customers are buying you won't
    have any problems.

If you're really into that, you should get a sample product first before selling it off. A lot of these are china-made and some korean improvement of that china-made product. I've been fooled with those things once, I thought I was buying a real iphone 5 but then found out later that it was just a really convincing knockoff.

There's one easy way to find out. Buy one without telling the guy what you plan on doing and take it to the nearest Apple Store to get checked out. They should be able to tell you whether it's real or a cheap imitation.

I think this has absolutely nothing to do with Internet Marketing.

Actually it does. Reselling on eBay and drop shipping the products to customers. Don't know why you're complaining about it not being related to internet marketing.

They can be real but not legit , those are called " custom" pieces that's tax free pieces .They go into the account of damaged pieces while moving goods.

There are probally returns like Ebbi says if your good at fixing and sell them as refurbished your probally ok. I would only buy a few to start to see what they are like.

So its basically promoting their site

If you have to wonder about the legitimacy then you shouldn't get involved.
