I'm trying to move url1 to url2. I want all traces of url1 to be removed, and I want the entire wordpress site transferred to url2. The content, the theme, the images, etc. Which of these directions do I follow in the following link?

Wow! That looks like a lot of work. There are a number of WP plugins that do that for you. Personally, I use WP Twin. It's one of the more expensive plugins for this, but it works like a charm and saves enough time that it's worth it for me.

You can find a bunch of cloning tools (including those that are free) by doing a google search: wordpress cloning software

    Hope this helps!

Backupbuddy is also a plugin which allows you to transfer sites to a new domain.

It'll also cost some money but it'll do the job you want plus many more things you might want to use for your business.

Not hard and also works. Duplicator is free if you want the plugin solution

Thanks everyone. I ended up using duplicator because it's free and relatively easy. Thanks again.

Good to know it went well. I also tried using that one before.
