Ok, so I am relatively new to all this Internet Marketing business. I have been searching and researching for quite some time now and have been taking notes eagerly as well.

I think I am ready to start now.

But before I do, I want to ask about the things that can go wrong despite the precautions and how can I deal with them?

Thanks

Don't spend to much time worrying about what can go wrong. If do you may never get started. Thomas Edison had 1000's of things wrong before he invented the light bulb. A sky diver does not worry about a parachute failing or they would never leave the ground. IM is not life threating, you just have to start some where.

People make mistakes and learn from them, Some are painful and others are not. Just start applying from what you have learn and take the plunge. If you have problems or something does not seem right, you can pose a question that some one on the forum can answer. Good luck

Hi Mate - Let me ask you this - Do you stop driving thinking that you will get into an accident and almost everyone (I know some are reckless) takes precautions but still there are accidents everyday? We can't live life thinking about failures. But that does not mean that we don't plan.

From your post, it seems like you are ready. I suggest that you put a plan in place with reasonable timelines as to when you expect things to be at a certain stage and what you are expecting out of it at that stage. Do consider all the pros and cons (that is a wise thing to do) and be ethical in whatever you do. If there is passion that you have, see how that be monetized. Seems like you are Graphic Designer and you could be creating very cool graphics. For you all that might be piece of cake but there are so many people who can't even get started on graphics. Continue to create the cool graphics, showcase them and offer your services. Trust me, before you realize, you will be monetizing something that you love doing.

All the very best to you!

After you have a plan in place, get started. Don't get stuck in the paralysis by analysis mode. I believe that you'll be able to handle any problems that may develop, just like one does in other areas of their life. Besides you always have the Warrior Forum, many of the people here are willing to advise.

Keep your focus and take action. Do not jump around if you do not make sales in your first 2 days...pick a niche and focus on it.

Thankyou so much guys for the generous words. I believe that I have been a bit too much cautious in this matter. I guess I was scared a bit- I mean who isn't right?

But I think it is high time I start something beneficial for my family. Thankyou.

Maybe if you were more specific we could tell you if you have anything to fear. Generic "fears" is not much to go on.

This is the best way I can put it...

Can you justify your niche selection, in terms of interest? If you chose, for example, "fitness" as your niche, did you come up with a way to gauge how many people are interested in this niche i.e. enough of a buyers market? If you did come up with a way, did your method justify the choice of "fitness" as a niche? If you didn't come up with a method to justify your niche selection, start there. Once you verify your niche selection, that will be your first step and your supporting information for being confident that you are going in the right direction. Always rely on the facts.

Now you are one step in the direction you want to go with some confidence- you did your research and can support your niche choice. Now- what to do within that niche?

If you're not confident on whatever you're trying to do within the chosen niche- perhaps affiliate marketing, or maybe creating and marketing your own product, is your method tried and true? Always look at the bottom line of what you're doing. Understand the positives and negatives of your choice and go down the path that is most justified. There WILL be trial and error along the way. But you will minimize this by studying others and always understanding how others already did what you're trying to do. (At least this applies to affiliate marketing and creating/marketing your own products).

Hope this helps. The TLDR is if you can support your decision with facts, therein should lie your confidence. If there are aspects you aren't succeeding with, don't get discouraged. Instead work on finding out WHY it isn't working, and tweaking it. Trial and error is always present on some level.

like NIKE says, "just do it!". You will make mistakes, just accept it as part of the learning curve. My very first niche did not pan out (and it took me a month to research) and I never made any money from my first website. But I did not sit around and baby it, I went on to the next one, using the lessons I learned from the first one. So do not fear the mistakes, you will make them, make peace with the fact that there will be, we all make them, just do it!

Do not worry about what can go wrong and just start learning everything you can about internet marketing. Start reading the free posts on this forum, so that you can familiarize yourself with what others are doing to make a part-time or full-time income online. And everyone who starts online will make mistakes, but that is how you will learn and grow as an internet marketer.
