I've been tempted to join the war room

I thought it was $20/yr, but I see that greed has reared its ugly head. At $97/yr it's off the table completely. I know some will say it's still a bargain, but that's way too much for me.

It used to be $37 for 20 years. When Freelancer took over they changed it to $20 a year for a short period of time and now they have raised it to $97 a year.

      Cheers

not worth it, the only people who will tell you it's a bargain are the ones selling it or the ones selling themselves in it

I accomplished one of my major business breakthroughs from the info in the war room. Back then it was $20, but even now at $97... i've greatly surpassed and made my money back just from 1 simple idea that i saw from the info there. It's more than a bargain. It's a steal.

I see that it's perhaps frustrating to have missed the temporary $20 offer. But I'm sure the forum's owners will be interested in your assessment of their avarice.

I promise I mean this helpfully rather than rudely, and obviously I have absolutely no knowledge at all of your personal circumstances, but to be honest, I can't help instinctively wondering whether the way you assess "value" and "greed" are perhaps not entirely unconnected with the fact that you've been a member of the rightly-celebrated Warrior Forum for 9 years but still find that $97 rules it out for you. To be fair, you did have eight and a half years to join it for a far lower price than that, if you'd really wanted to. And even $97 doesn't actually work out at many hours' minimum-wage work in California?

I don't know your budget. I have been looking for a way to join the war room since it began. But, because of the part of the world where I came from, making payment was VERY DIFFICULT. It took me less than three days to join the war room when Paypal announced that my country can now use them to make payment online.

As it is, I am not regretting it. Give it a thought. If the money is much for you, you can save towards it. I believe you will get your money back in multiple fold with the bulk of information you will find there.

The War Room used to be free with forum membership. With a December 2005 membership you must have just missed being grandfathered in. Although, to be fair, one did have to buy a product to obtain forum membership.

My .02, maybe .03 since years ago I wrote a sales page for the War Room extolling its virtues:

First, the quality of submissions has been severely going down hill. There's a ton of junk, fake stuff, rehashed ideas, false claims, strategies the poster never tried themself - you get the idea - with the hope that someone will read it and decide to subscribe to a list or pay for an "upgrade" for better information.

That's not to say every thread is bad and there is no value. There is. But there are plenty in the War Room complaining about what I have just said: how in the world did this get approved?

Second, the $97 yearly fee will either slowly kill off the War Room because many members, loathe to spend anywhere near that for a WSO or anything else regardless of its actual value, won't pay. Or, it will improve the quality of submissions because only those serious about making money and taking action will join.

My prediction, knowing Warrior members - the former. But I hope for the latter.

You can call it greed. Or simply the new owners testing a new price point to see what happens, brings in the most revenue, and is best for the section. Isn't that what everyone is supposed to be doing?

Another example, the "sticky" available in the WSO section. Great idea, but priced at $200 per day. The few who had paid it quickly stopped.

Check back in a year and see what has happened with prices for various forum options.

Consider it an investment in your homebased business. Business expenses are tax deductible.

I'm not sure how one can expect to be successful if they think $97 is considered greedy. It's not like this is the government forcing the poor to pay higher taxes so house reps can build a new pool for their mansion.
