    That's interesting. I don't know if it's biased towards selling
    Windows so much as any phrase mentioning Windows
    will return (in Bing) results from Microsoft, which does
    have a very popular site with a lot of backlinks to it.

    I typed in:

    how to "remove windows" completely and install linux

    and the results I got were more in line with what you would
    be looking for. The search algorhythm doesn't sort the
    way we are accustomed to with Google, apparently.

      I pasted the same phrase into Google, and got very nearly the same results.

      One assumes it has more to do with the authority of the site than the terms.

    Yeah we checked Google too and the first 2-3 were the same. The rest were a little more balanced. On bing I think the entire first page was Windows stuff
