    Well an example of "dumb" marketing would be spending 80 bucks in AdWords to make a 10 dollar profit, and then doing it again!

    I think you may actually mean "BUM" marketing, which is a rather unflattering slang for Article Marketing. The term was coined by Travis Sago (actually I heard it was his wife who came up with it). The idea is that you could teach Article Marketing to a bum you picked up off the street and he could make money with zero investment (assuming he already had Internet access).

    If you Google "Article Marketing" or "Bum Marketing" you'll find more information than you'll ever need.
