Advice On Hiring Affiliates

Hi,

Im about to start selling my product (website is being finalised). It is a membership site with video tutorials in a financial niche.

I'm exploring lots of different ways of marketing and obviously a big one could potentially be affiliates.

I know about clickbank but to be honest I dont think it would be a good fit for my product. It sells for around $200 (and this is at the low end of my competition) and am certainly not going to give 75%+ in commissions unless they were selling 100's or 1000's in a month (highly unlikely).

I know there is the strategy where by you give one product away for a low price for high commissions and hope that creates a funnel for your main product. But I already give away everything I can afford to give away for free on my site and only the elite information is charged. I dont want to start charging for the free info as I distinguish myself from my competitors by giving all the basic info away for free which most people charge for. There isnt room to have a $20 product to sell through clickbank.

SO ideally i'm looking for a marketplace where I can meet people that would be interested in splitting the sales 50/50 on what they sell. Would this be classed more as a JV? How would I go about finding these people?

Also clickbank and similar affiliate marketplaces tend to enforce the terms you sell your product on (from what I understand). Because I sell highly proprietary information in a digital format I cannot offer a refund (except for special circumstances) and I know a lot of affiliate brokers demand certain terms.

Any advice? Or should I just leave the affiliate idea if I am have this specific requests?

Many thanks
