Is there a good Amazon Keyword Research Tool for Physical Products?

I've been searching for a few days for a keyword research tool specifically for Amazon. I would like to find something that could help me locate profitable categories for physical products. I'm looking to get into private labeling and I think a tool like this would really help. Does anyone know where I can find something like this?

You can use market samurai or long tail pro for your keyword research needs. Just head over to amazon and check their best sellers http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/ . Use the keywords in adwords tool or in above said softwares. You might find the best keyword suiting your needs within few hours.

i meant more so along the lines of determining a good product category to create a private label product for, which could also analyze the competition. Not something that's just going to tell me Go Pro's get searched a million times a month on google

        Hi totalpackage,

Perhaps you should check out the Azon Affiliate Toolkit. You can research amazon products, discover keywords and their stats, and also the stats on Competitors for those keywords, apart from many other features.

Disclaimer: Azon Affiliate Toolkit is our product. However, we only recommend it because it answers your need and not as an advert.

Have you ever checked out the drop box that appears when you type in a search term on Amazon. This drop box is Amazon telling you what people are searching for on Amazon. One you have found a product type in the product name, click the space bar and just go through the alphabet to find hidden keywords that most people have missed.

There is a software product called FreshKey that roughly does what you are looking for (not my product). however the best way is to manually go through the best sellers lists. choosing the right product / category is going to take some brain gymnastics, not just some keyword tool. Check for good feedback (less than 1000, less even better) and in the top 100.

Most of the SEO guys I asked about this are only using Google AdWords tool. Plus, according to them, they just check the bestselling products.
