Make video tutorials of how to make those products and then maybe have an opt-in form for email subscribers.

Also you can offer products "tools" that are needed to make those stuff.

I have just took a look at "How To Make Funnel Cake" competition on the first page of Google and it seems that you have found a great keyword as the top sites have very few backlinks pointing to the page Google is ranking, which is a great sign. Also most of the top ten results don't have the keyword in their title, description for URL.

So yes I would advise to set up a site with the homepage targeting your main keyword and then build a few other pages targeting similar keywords and interlink them with each other in silo format, with the last page leading back to your homepage. Be sure to put your main keyword in your title, description.

If you don't want to write your own content there are lots of places to get it done for you that don't cost very much such as:

fiverr.com (get an article for $5)

iwriter.com (this is great as you get lots of articles wrote for you and can pick the one you like and reject the rest)

ineedarticles.com (very good quality at a great price)

I agree with alvinhy. The best way I have found is using the authority of Youtube to quickly rank your offer on the first page of Google. I am a video marketing expert and have ranked some of my videos on Youtube in less than 5 minutes.Also check out the Google keyword tool to find low competition keywords with high search volume to rank your videos quickly.

I confess I don't know what "funnel cake" is (I'm guessing it's perhaps a "US-only" term, and perhaps known under another name in the rest of the English-speaking world?). Anyway, they both look like perfectly good domain-names, even if the first one's effectively geo-limited.

This is the crucial question and one that you need to investigate before you begin any marketing efforts. Indeed, it pays to consider the products that you can sell in relation to any set of keywords before buying domain names.

Sometimes keywords have high volumes of searches but the majority of the searchers are just looking for information, not products to buy.

I agree - and the suggestion above to build a list seems like fiction to me.

Tartar sauce can be bought in the grocery or (better and cheaper) made from 2-3 simple ingredients in your fridge. No measuring nor implements required.

Funnel cakes may have good searches but what long tails are people searching for? My guess is "recipe" and funnel cake recipes with instructions are available on every major recipe site.

I do think the domain potential is limited as the topics are extremely narrow. I would envision pages on tartar sauce and funnel cakes (and perhaps a video of the latter) as part of a larger "food" site.

By all means give it a shot but I'd advise against registering more "singular food" domains until you see what results you get from these.

The topic is narrow, but you can select a lot of relevant keywords for this particular keyword to keep expanding the site with time.

Start building your site with useful content and proper seo structure. You can make videos of making funner cakes and upload it to youtube with linkbank to your site. Check if you have any products to promote in amazon, i believe you'll have many.

Looks like you you've got yourself some good domains.

First off, you should add value to those domains by creating good content. You can start off writing some articles. You can even create your own information product and make the homepage a sales page. If you have no interest to write in those niches, then you can outsource your content on sites like iWriter, ODesk, or Fiverr.

The idea is to try and get the domains to rank for their own keywords. Once they rank and start getting some traffic, you can flip the sites or try to grow them into authority sites.

I don't begin to understand how so many people are able to offer advice here, without apparently knowing what the OP's business model and intentions are, for these sites. Were there originally other posts here, explaining what's going on, which have now been removed, or something??

Years ago, I was in the domain name buying mode and owned up to 150 names at one time just because they had good search volume and many were exact match. All were dot coms.

I could hardly pass up a name because I knew I could either put an income producing site on the property or I could most likely sell it in the future for a nice profit.

I no longer do that. What I found very quickly was that lots of search volume did not equate to prospects looking to buy.

I sold a very few of the domains and let most of the rest lapse after a few years. Lesson learned. Money on registrations and renewals lost.

Never again.

Here's my suggestion to all of you:

Don't buy a domain name unless you have a specific plan for it.

And the plan should be able to be implemented soon. If you buy a domain name with the idea that you will get to it in a few months . . . well, I'm going to bet that you won't get to it at all - there are too many other things most IMers do before they start new projects.

Just my experience.

I did this same thing once too. My domains are still lapsing, some of which I bought 5-yr registrations on into 2017/18. Now I don't want these domains at all and wondered why I even bought them.

As far as the OP, its true what someone already mentioned: What is your end result? Are you trying to make money? Do you just want traffic? Are those going to be authority domains, or do you just want to see a something on the first page of Google search results?

All the advice is fine but how about starting with the end in mind?

What do you see as the end result of your efforts? What is it you're trying
to convey to the public with these sites? What do you know about the subjects?
Do you want to be seen as the expert on funnel cakes and tartar sauce or are
you just looking to build a little traffic and flip the sites?

It's great to ask for, and receive, advice but it all means nothing until you define
exactly what it is you want to do. How can you possibly know the first step in getting
started when you haven't yet decided where you want to go?

Even though they might sound like good domain names with good search numbers, what's the real value of these domais?

You can't really build any other site than what the domain name suggests, and these aren't things that are going to make you money unfortunately.

The best you can do is build up the sites with content realted to the domain name, build some backlinks, put some ads up and leave it at that. Maybe you'll make a couple of dollars a week once you start seeing traffic.

I had someone here on warrior forum make for me a food blog. It is center around only 1 food type (I cannot give away) but it has over 1000 recipes. I put ads both clickbank and cpa and it is making me side passive money. It is not a lot but it gave hope that it is possible to scale more.

I suggest you also pick one food type and become the expert in that.
