How to focus on the marketing side of things...

Hey folks,

Back in November i signed up for a coaching program. Alex Jeffreys has since become a huge name - he literally flies all around the world to meet up with the biggest names in Internet Marketing, so he can get 'drunk with them and pick their brains on the secrets to marketing'. He's got a sense of humour - but i think he's being serious when he says this

Right from the first mentoring session I had some actionable steps to get started online. Alex provided me with the whole system - free ebook to give away (branded with my affiliate links), full video product as a One Time Offer (OTO), a list-building squeeze page, a blog and more.

So with this set up I could focus on the marketing side of things, which Alex did a tremendous job of teaching me. I felt like the secrets of good business and marketing had been passed on to me.

Now my blog ran into some technical difficulties a while back... but I didn't let that stop me. I've simply re-launched it (you can read my story there if you're interested) and am in the process of developing my own product. I never would have had the motivation to do this half a year ago.

I had made some affiliate sales before from article marketing, but soon after I had my blog set up, I had started to build my very first list, and I now receive fairly regular commissions from various affiliate programs, including Aweber, HostGator and Clickbank.

so back to the coaching program...

It starts with a video. It's fairly long, but there is value there, and it's a good way to get to know Alex and his humour at least.

Now coaching of this kind is not going to be for everyone, especially if you're already making 100's a day online. This is a program designed to get an absolute newbie off the ground from nothing to building a sustainable business, with the long-term in mind. It's really changed my outlook - I've completely shed the whole 'money on autopilot while i do very little' work mentality. I've now got a real business mindset, and I feel empowered.

So all I'm saying is, get a system in place and stop worrying about it. Focus on the marketing and you can always tweak things about later on. Getting a mentor to help you along the way really helps, most importantly because it gives you the confidence to move ahead without worrying about whether what you are doing is right or not.

It's been 6 or 7 months and, having recently lost my job, I'm sticking to Internet Marketing to earn my living. I'm not earning as much as I used to at my job just yet, but I have so much confidence in my ability now, that I can just push forward and not worry about it.

Big changes are going to take place in my life, and I just can't wait.

Thanks for listening,

Ed

    Hi Ed,

IM is great once you get the hang of it.

It is so nice to have some sort of a system run for you online on auto-pilot while you are doing something else.

For someone new, it takes a while to learn how to do things but if one persists, they will succeed.

    Edddddddddddddddd!

    Congrats on your situation.

Looks like you need to get smart busy since you now have 8 more hours per day to work on you online business.

I've always said, master traffic generation and you control your future because...

-Anyone can learn how to target good niches and products etc.

    - Anyone can learn how to slap up a landing page with some sort of money links on it.

    - Anyone can learn how to get enough of their visitors to do what they want them to do through testing and monitoring the results...

But without the mighty "T" all the above is for naught.

What are you going to do now?

Get more traffic etc., expand you lists in the IM niche? Grow your IM business.

Rinse and repeat in other niches?

    All The Best!!
