Look there is no such written contract in the virtual world, but we all are of course abide by the laws. SEO services is used as a performance based project, if one fails to satisfy the clients then the contract will automatically become void. However PayPal is a ideal Payment option for these type of payments

You can get a signed contract online that is legally binding. There is such a thing as a digital signature that will hold up in a court.

    https://rightsignature.com/

This is one example. However, there are many free e-sign services available that you are welcome to use.

You would send the document to your client or have them view it online and provide the electronic signature and it would be valid.

In the online world, there is really no such thing as trusting that your client will pay you. If you can't get the signature on a document, insist on payment upfront. For that, you could use Paypal or many other processors.

BlueSnap (formerly Plimus) is a great way to receive payments from your clients using most of the popular payment options.

You don't need to get them to sign a contract with you. Just ask for the fees first before delivering your services.

If you are working as a company, you will have your terms of service/contract that you can get them to agree to before commencement of a project. If you are working a freelancer, send them a terms of service PDF that clearly defines the deliverables and payment terms.

For payments, why not use Paypal....i think most of your customers would be happy with that. You can send them invoices and they'll just pay the invoice.

In the past, I've signed some contracts via Adobe's Echosign.
