Amazon vs Clickbank

Hi guys,

If you have a video tutorial on a scientific/business software.

would you rather sell it on Amazon via createspace?

or would you go the website + clickbank route?

and an extra question

would you make it downloadable or dvd?

    Hi ClickBank has track of success records for doing your stuff.

    With ClickBank, you can easily network with people who have established blogs and big email list to help you market your products by becoming affiliates.

    You know what, nothing matters.

    All that matters is whether you have traffic (in other words, buyers) or not.

    1. Do you have buyers for what you are selling?

    2. Do your buyers continue to buy from you?

    3. Do you have any moat around your business?

    4. Do you have any competition?

    5. Do you have a brand and stand out?

    It's all about the idea, my friend.

    The idea signifies how unique you are.

    The idea signifies how useful you are.

    The idea signifies how much the barrier to entry is.

    The idea signifies whether you can scale and sell onward or not.

    The idea is your business.

      Back to serious mode: In this case I asume it is the best to go both amazon and clickbank. But to set up a whole new website for clickbank and relable and substantially modify the product.

        If you can do it, that certainly solves the problem.

        The only problem that might just still leave you with, I suppose, is that someone who happened to buy both products separately might be disappointed at the overlap of information, and ask for a refund? In which case ClickBank/Amazon would obviously refund them, anyway. But if you don't mind that slight "risk" (perhaps not such a big deal?), that would probably work.

    Amazon has built in credibility and is more likely to be trusted by shoppers than a new website. To monetize or sell your product, go with a proven winner when you are starting and then branch out.

    Is there a more specialized site you could sell it on, such as one that targets your ideal customers, rather than a generic site such as Amazon? Although Amazon might be seen as the ideal site to promote any software or informational product, it is very generic and not specifically related to what you are offering.

    I would go with the website + clickbank route. And i would make it both downloadable and available on DVD. Just sell the DVD option for $10 more... for "shipping and handling"... which actually kinda true. Just make sure you get a good DVD burning machine and software. I use Nero. And the discs i use are Lightscribe discs. Really makes an impression on people.

    If you can get a ton of good clickbank affiliates, you can do real well with your idea and product. Good luck man.
