Hey all,

Where would be the best place to go to get a plugin developed?

Obviously sites like elance and odesk, but does anyone have any recommendations and experience in doing this?

My recommendation is for you to search for contractors in oDesk with expertise in PHP, JavaScript / AJAX, WordPress and UI design for your target admin users and global users, keeping in mind the desktop browsers and / or mobile browsers that they'd most likely use when configuring the settings of your WordPress plugin (admin users) and when viewing sites integrated with your WordPress plugin (global users); and

Of course, look at their portfolio, specifically relevant projects that they've completed in the past, along with ratings and reviews left for each contractor by other service buyers in oDesk...

This forum is owned by Freelancer.com, which is a great place to outsource stuff.. (I used to use vWorker as my main spot, but that's been bought by Freelancer too haha).

There a quite a few companies or individuals out there who build wordpress plugins for a fee. Freelancer.ca has quite a few waiting for you also. Doing a search found these three for you:

I've had a bot developed by a freelancer on Freelancer.com. It wasn't wordpress, butI got what I wanted. I recommend Freelancer.com. Don't go for people who claim to have teams - go for solo contractors. Pay milestones and test the product before final payment.

For me it's Freelancer.com. I have developed some wordpress plugin from there. I find their site interface easy to use and reliable.
