Any good Flippa alternatives?

Looking to buy some website or websites.
Flippa seems to be very saturated/overpriced.
Any other places that I can find honest sellers?
Any other suggestions perhaps of how to find good sites to buy, perhaps ones that are not listed on major auction sites?

Appreciate the help.

Regarding the list you mentioned, yes I am familiar with it, however most of these are sites that were created to be sold within a short period of time, flipped.
Looking for older, perhaps more 'naive' thinking, genuine sites.

Established Websites For Sale on Empire Flippers' Marketplace

All the sites are carefully vetted by the site owners before listing. I haven't bought a site there myself but I'm going to list there in the near future.

I can't quite remember, a few weeks ago, I think. (My memory, concentration and attention-span are dreadful at the moment ). Nice to see you again.

Are you looking for something already established or something new you can build upon?

I am looking for a site that wasn't made just for the purpose of flipping it.
One that is established and has some income ( let's say $50-$500), of course one that I see the potential of making it more successful.

Why would anyone would sell the chicken that's laying golden eggs?

Interesting point - I think that's a common misconception and you've got it a bit wrong. My take:

Golden Egg - The profitable website that earns each month.

The Chicken - The repeatable skill of creating profitable websites in the right niches.

Website Brokers - We can help you sell businesses making $500 to $50K per month.

What niche are you interested in or are you just looking for
something to sink your teeth in and build on?

Sounds like you have a good marketing background and
looking for something established to work with.

I was looking for a specific answer to this question, also. Looks like the last post in this thread came closest to answering this question. Actually, I checked and webmasyer is either something that's been misspelled or was no longer a good website at the time of that posting.

The Warrior is the best place to buy & sell any web sites. Here there are so many buyer & seller is available. You will be able to buy any sites from here. Already you mentioned the Flippa's name, beside these you can take a look on the digital points also.

If you're buying, it really depends what your budget is. Below $40-50k you really don't have many "safe" options - that level is full of scams. If you don't want to use Flippa, then EmpireFlippers are a good bet (and will generally be better quality than Flippa).

Above $50k, start checking out brokers. Here is a good resource for finding brokered listings: Centurica MarketWatch

At any level, you can always try contacting sites in a niche you want to buy and see if they want to sell. There's no secret here - just message a lot of different people! Expect your success rate to be low, but you can find some gems if you're patient.

Bear in mind, wherever you are buying, do your due diligence. Brokers/sellers won't do that for you (although some are better than others). There is no such thing as a "safe" place to buy sites, and anyone that tells you that lacks a working understanding of a business/website sales process.

Flippa, DigitalPoint, and WebsiteBroker are the ones I know of.

I have a site I want to sell but can't find any clean pools of good quality websites to list mine in. I have good revenue and superb traffic but no time to manage this site anymore and am looking for a new owner!

If you are looking to buy at low prices (reseller prices), then the best places are webmasyer and internet marketing forums.
