Best Sources of Passive Income

One of the things I like the most about Online Marketing is the ability to create multiple sources of passive income.

For those who are not familiar with this term, it is that kind of income where you do the work once and then money will keep on coming with minimum effort on your side. It's not like a job where you have to work every day, and once you stop working you won't earn anything.

    And I will "break the ice". A method that worked great for me is to upload Youtube videos and compilations that tend to go viral, and place affiliate links related to that topic in the video description.

    Once the video gets more and more views, so the number of people that visit the link and buy the product. I have a very popular video that still brings in money even after 2 years.

    The top 2 I can think of that has been most successful for me is youtube and slideshare because you've only got to make the video or the slideshow once and uploaded it and you keep getting income from them.

    Another good tip is to combine these two methods with SEO and target some low competition keywords this works well because with the authority of youtube and slideshare it is quite easy to rank them in the search results for medium to low competition keywords without a lot of work.

    And this can definitely increase the amount of revenue you make from each slide or video.

    So far the thing that has worked best for me is creating Kindle books. I have books from over 2 years ago that continue to make me money each month!

    Youtube is good too although I haven't had a viral video yet.

    Pretty simple really -

    1. Create products once that sell over and over again - infoproducts, courses, webinars, etc...

    2. Have a sales funnel (including top notch sales page) that converts...this is important to making "passive" income because you can automate marketing when your ROI is positive

    3. Setup consistent source of traffic from one or more of: - affiliate traffic - ad traffic - SEO/Content

    Will never be TRULY hands-off in my experience, but certainly you can get it down to very little maintenance work + some additional work to add on layers of traffic if you wish

    I would say promoting affliate products which have a recurring commission system and a high retention rate.

    You could virtually promote heavily for about a month and still earn after years without any worries about product maintenance, customer support etc...

    I've created a pretty good passive income via Kindle books and Createspace. I've also got a handful of old Adsense and Amazon affiliate sites that make a small amount of money every month.

    Any written content, whether Kindle, articles published on a content creation network or PLR packages that you sell again and again are good sources of passive residual income. Also, any type of ebook as it can still earn money for you, even when you are not manning the page anymore as the sale/delivery is automatic.
