What your customers really want...

It always amazes me when I go to a website where the owner has loaded a thousand pages of pointless "content" on a subject in the attempt to sell some product. I just shake my head and think, "It doesn't have to be like this."

Over the past year and a bit I've discovered something I think we should all know. You can create just 10-pages of strategic content and make more money with it than others are making from a thousand pages of useless content, or from 100 hours of pointless video "training". I've lost track of the hours of my life I've spent on pointless webinars for example!

I'll tell you exactly what I've discovered.

Let me tell you what people want these days. They don't want your gazillion pages of information. They want a brief (but thorough) explanation of the subject, and a quick and executable solution to their problem. They'll pay for that. I have paid for that. My customers pay me for it. Others will pay you - even in the internet marketing space!

The days of the "the more - the better" philosophy are dead (or at least they are very sick!) and we wont mourn their passing either. Anything we can do to hasten it's demise will only be good for us, our profits, our customers, and our market.
