I Found It Hard To Login To My Self Hosted Wordpress Account, HELP!

Hi mate,
i found it hard to login to my wordpress account with the same username and password i used during the installation of the wordpress, it came as a surprise to me few weeks ago when i found out that i could not login with the same details, i also tried to retrieve the password with the email i used when i install the wordpress, all i could see is "ERROR: There is no user registered with that email address". I would be very grateful if you can show ways of getting out of this problem. Thanks in advance.

    Do you have access to your root or the wordpress database using phpmyadmin? If so, you can reset your login details there. Here is a link from wordpress walking you through it:

    I use a set of passwords (3 of them) for my wp sites (31). if you have Cpanel access, you can reset password. watch youtube videos on how to.h

      Yep had the same problem last week. I have misplaced all my passwords with Hostgator and WP. Just called them at Hostgator.

      Took awhile to get rep. when I did it took no time and I was of and running

    also try using another email address, or use your username instead of email address and utilize the "forgot password" feature

    FWIW, wordpress should send you an email for each new install and new user info, so maybe you saved that info in one of your accounts.
