First, you want to make visitors sign up to your email list through an opt in form to receive your free ebook or video series.

Adding an image to a wordpress blog post or page is easy, you simply click on the "add media" button inside of dashboard area for that particular post or page:

Adding a downloadable ebook is also simple.

Let's say you have a PDF ebook that you save as FreeIMebook.

Then let's say for example your domain is imtraining.com

You can upload your ebook to your domain by using a free FTP client like Filezilla.

For this example the url to download your ebook would be imtraining.com/FreeIMebook.pdf

You would then either hyperlink the image of your ebook or text with that url that your blog readers can click to download your ebook.

That's assuming that you did not upload your ebook into a particular folder on your domain.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi,

You can also add it through a Widget on your Wordpress blog. For example, link up to a banner ad through your sidebar, with an a href tag....like <a href="insert your ebook link here" target="_blank"></a>

Since most people like to build their list through emails this is a less used strategy, but if you're already building an RSS list you can import that to FeedBlitz or other service, and simply use this method for a quick and easy download so you can Pay it Forward.

    All the best.

You just need to upload the ebook a\image in your domain and apply the path in the book image code..default in code is:

Which you need to apply accordingly where you up;load the image

You should definitely get them to sign up to a list to get the free download.

As stated above you want to create a list to market to so you can offer new ebooks or videos to your existing list as well as entice new subscribers with the original free pdf or video on your page. Here is a plugin that may help you achieve what you are looking to do. Hope this helps.

Free Ebooks are not taken seriously anymore, why not sell it? Set the price extremely low and you will have their PayPal email address to contact them and offer thanks and bonuses.

You can upload the book on Dropbox or other file storage platform, post a photo (such as the e-cover) on your site, and then add a link to the Dropbox page where you've published the book. When someone clicks on the book picture, he's going to be automatically redirected to the site where your content is available.
