Where to outsource Kindle books?

Where to outsource short Kindle fiction books around 500-1000 words? I know Fiverr, but I need more services. I'm fine with average quality. Thanks for sharing!

I don't think 500-1000 words constitutes an ebook.

And - you don't care about quality? Hopefully you're rewriting them.

Please don't just pollute the Amazon Kindle store with a bunch of noise.

500-1000 words is a joke. Maybe if you collected 15-20 of those 1,000 word shorts you could call it a book.

As for quality, I hope you have asbestos underwear, because the reviewers will fry your behind otherwise if you are just looking to cash in on some kind of new Kindle gold rush...

Did you mean 5,000 to 10,000 words perhaps.....10,000 is around an absolute minimum for a non-fiction Kindle book.

10,000 (if the content to well written, on-topic, informative etc) could hot the spot though it'd have to be spot on.

If you're looking to outsource - check out the warriors for hire section on this very forum....

In some circles, 500-1000 words barely constitutes a short story, never mind calling it a "book." Unless, of course, these will be for illustrated children's books, in which case 1000 words might be on the high side, depending on the target age range.

But, despite some of the advice offered above, if you still insist on finding outsourcers for your 500-1000 word "books," you might want to give this link try: Cat in Space PLR

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

That's funny how everyone write that 500-1000 words it's not a book and it's a joke, when in reality, it's a huge niche.
I am talking about kids books with pictures.
Some of them are only 300 words, and 1000 it's a max.
2-5 yo children don't have patience for anything longer.

That is a good point, that said, Does anyone also have a quality source (persons name?) for illustrating children's books that you would be so kind to share?

There are some excellent artists on Fiverr, however they charge over 100 bucks

There is a LOT of brilliant illustrators, it's all about the budget.
The one that i really like, will cost around 1000$ for one book, and it's very expensive, especially if you don't know if the book will sell or not.

On fiver, i think the most are not great quality at all, but i saw a few that are good, but they also charge much more (with all the extra, it will be around 20-30$ for one illustration).
It's possible to find also around 6-7$ per illustration, but again, it's all depends what quality you are looking for.

In 2013 Amazon was removing any books shorter than 2500 words.

I've found the best ghost writers on elance, but good work ain't cheep and cheep work ain't good.

  • I'd say just hire someone on Fiverr man.

There are some quality gigs up there where you can get 10,000 words for $5.

One of the guys offering these gigs is actually a best-selling novelist I think... He does it as a charity project.

You could even take a book and run it through Google translate and sell it in another language it hasn't been translated into yet.

It's these kinds of outside-the-box ideas that make millionaires, I'm tellin' ya folks.

Try creating book that are much larger in size. Other wise, you will lose your account with amazon. Basically, you will get an email about providing a poor user experience. BTW, you could sell your um "BOOK" as a report for seven dollars; what is it with seven - any way.

OP, that's too short. 5000 to 10000 is what you should be shooting for. It doesn't cost all that much nowadays.

Just stick with Fiverr if it's only a 500-1000 words book.
