Need help crafting the "Team" slide of an investor pitch.

Whatsup guys,

I've been involved with IM / Mobile marketing for over 7+ years now (including while I was in highschool) - I have been responsible for owning websites that have gained over 50,000 unique views per month and have excellent design experience as well as UX/UI consulting for a few companies on a freelance basis.

My issue is this - I am running a startup company now and we are in the process of raising money. However, I am inexperienced when it comes to "Startup" ventures that require incorporation etc.. - I am trying to craft my team slide so that I do not seem like a random person on the venture as it has to do with digital marketing still.

The problem is - I'm 23 right now, a lot of my marketing experience was in high school and early college. On top of that, a lot of what I did could have been considered blackhat (Think old school CS), so reporting sales is an issue.

I also don't want to say I have 6+ years in internet / mobile marketing experience as I will look like a typical zombie spinning my wheels as I am not doing $100k+ in sales..

Any thoughts on the direction to take this?

Don't be afraid to let them know of your success on generating that many views to a single website. Getting 50,000 views on a website can showcase your understanding of the digital world of the Internet. Don't worry much, they won't be judging you if you can still show them what you're capable of doing.

I would say that you do have 7+ years. Who cares if they confuse themselves and think, "this kid isn't doing six figures?" Really, at this point, you want to create a slide that entices them, and it doesn't matter what they think of you personally and of your ups and downs. Think of this pitch as your one stop chance at making this startup actually "start". Throw it down them how knowledgeable and experienced you are, and how you can make it a success.

Never be afraid. Have confidence and believe in your business
    model.

Everything is based on market perception and for as long as you
know what you are doing. Investors will believe in you.

My partner is around the same age as you and we got a lot of
investors to help us with our business model.

The most important detail is to show that you know what you're doing. You might not be making $100k in sales, but let's face it, how many people actually hits that figure?

If you're trying to get investors in, you just need to convince them that they will be getting a good ROI. Think from the other side of the table - how would someone need to get YOU to invest in them?

You could always just get the main point down first and not fret over anything until you've completed the first draft of your presentation. By then you might have a better idea of how to present yourself and your team

I would suggest watching Something Ventured for a look at how some of legends of VC look at companies.

I would focus on the projections and the business plan. To quote Tom Perkins, "I look at the numbers in the back. If they are big, I look at the front to see what type of business it is."

The highest hurdle here is you need clearly explain how your Marketing Plan aligns with your projections. Be ready to logically explain all your assumptions.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about your personal accomplishments. As NK mentioned, they are looking for ROI on this specific venture....
