Reporting fraud by hosting company.

Recently I purchased hosting from a hosting company under the condition that they had a 30 day money back policy.

After a week I found their service was pathetic and asked for a refund.

They said they will not give it and I could go do what I wanted about it.

I would like a list of places online where I could report them as fraud.

Regards.

You can write a review in this forum ..Internet Marketing Product Reviews & Ratings .. but make sure you read the forum rules before bashing anyone.

if you paid by pay pal you can file a dispute ....never tried this myself, but others have and succeeded

Depending on what country you live in, you might have the option of filing a complaint with a federal or state department. For instance, there is a Better Business Bureau in America and maybe something similar in other countries. They track consumer complaints online so that others can see a company's history and decide whether or not they want to have dealings with them.

Irregardless of what you think Paypal covers or does not cover, I would file a dispute. I have won disputes that involved digital products, both as a buyer and a seller. What have you got to lose?

If you paid by PayPal I'm presuming it was funded by your credit card unless you had money lying around in PayPal. If this is the case contact the credit card company and get them to do a chargeback. In my experience when PayPal get a chargeback request they go with the credit card company 100%.

A bit confused, I do not know if I can do this now as PayPal already closed the dispute.
