I'd be concerned about whether or not the traffic you'll get is REAL?

yes but problem is, there are also so many fly by night scam artists on Fiverr that it becomes almost impossible to weed out the rubbish from the genuine sellers..

I think it's an absolutely dreadful idea, Jamie, sorry.

Not really. You're deciding that from the testimonials, aren't you? Those aren't relevant to you. All those are telling you is that on the day the testimonial was left (typically the day after the service was provided), there had been "visits". You don't even know if they were real people, let alone "targeted visitors". Even if people are getting "opt-ins", it still doesn't mean that the traffic's monetizable. You can get some opt-ins even from ad.fly traffic (but don't try it!), and they're still not monetizable.

Here's the big thing you're overlooking: the "visitors" you get that way are typically incentivized ones - people in third-world countries who are being paid a few cents for visiting a large number of different websites. If it's not automated/bots, then it's "paid-to-click traffic". Absolutely no disrespect to those people at all: they're making a few dollars a day to survive, and typically they're in countries where a few dollars per day is significant income. But are they the targeted traffic you need, Jamie?

Better you work on your SEO related stuff and share your link in related facebook page. I am sure you'll get some quality readers as you need traffic which actually help you give some good results.

It doesn't convert. There are at least one hundred threads on this forum where the OP asked about it, was advised, went ahead and bought the "traffic" anyway because it was only five bucks and then came back and said it was a waste of money.

If fiverr traffic converted everyone would be raving about it. Sellers would be plastered in every corner of this forum screaming about how good it is. It's worthless.

I have never personally used fiverr for traffic, but I can tell you that if they had that much legit traffic they wouldn't be selling it for $5 they would be using it on their own sites. Fiverr has a lot of great gigs that are cheap and time savers, but I wouldn't trust traffic gigs.

    Hi Jamie,

Cheap traffic = no traffic. You may boost your numbers, but people who don't really want to read your work, or folks with little money - and most people who are offering services and buying services for $5 are struggling financially - are generally poor customers.

Namely, because they're not interested in your offering and have no money to buy anything, anything. Even if they have a few clams and dig your work, they'll likely be infrequent visitors, since they'll be spending much of their time trying to dig themselves out of their financial hole.

Go with this approach: visit blogs like Positively Positive, and Randy Gage's blog, and Brian Tracy's blog. Also, visit Melody Fletcher's blog; she's brilliant a real gem. Read the posts, take notes, then post a 5 to 6 paragraph, in depth comment in response to the post.

Form friendships with the top bloggers in your niche. Then, as more folks find you through your awesome comments, and as some of these bloggers promote you - as you promote them, through RTing, etc - your traffic will kick butt, and when you do monetize, you'll be able to prosper accordingly.

This commenting approach works well, really well, because it helps you build your blog, your brand, and your online reputation.

If you'd like bots for traffic than by all means buy fiverr traffic. The traffic quality is very poor and could hurt your blog plus I personally wouldn't want visitors that are not REAL people coming to my site.

I don't think you'll be doing much list building with Fiverr traffic...If you have to see for yourself, choose a few different gigs and test them out. If they don't convert, and there's a darn good chance they won't, at least you'll only be out fifteen or so bucks...

You can use the Fiverr to get traffic only. I mean if you want to increase your visitor, it is possible by the fiverr. But if you want to increase sell, it may not possible by the fiverr. because you may not get the real traffic.

    Hi Jamie
Congratulations on finishing your first blog. That's an achievement.
Just giving my thoughts. Fiverr traffic is not reliable. Suggest you use solo ads because these provide a very good traffic source.

The Warrior Forum has people who sell solo ads. Someone on the Warrior Forum would be much more reliable than Fiverr. Remember that cheap isn't always the best. With solos I don't think you'll be disappointed and it will get traffic to your website to start. You can try Facebook and other things after.

I would avoid buying traffic from Fiverr for the risk of it being fake
and focus on solo ads or PPC depending on your skillset

That's main concern when you buy cheap traffic as it always increase your bounce rate and also waste of money if none of them doing anything in terms of action.

I personally have not used and would be very wary of any traffic gigs on fiverr but if you are genuinely interested in trying them choose one that has good customer feedback.

This is one of the great things about fiverr, the gig's only cost a fiver so you can give them a go without much pressure on your hip pocket.

You will learn that in the Internet Marketing world, just like in the real world...If it's too good to be true it probably is. I personally would not use fiverr for traffic, SEO, or link building. Here's what I have used fiverr for and can vouch for:

    Logos and Graphics
    Transcriptions
    Voiceovers

Just keep in mind that you are only paying $5 so keep your expectations low. Also, more and more gigs are becoming more than $5 depending on what you need.

Fiverr has its fair share of quality services but traffic tends not to be one of them.

Treat your site with correct (targeted) traffic and you'll fair much better.

If you hire any freelancer from Fiverr, the freelancer will be able to increase your site traffic, It is true. But I doubt, will you sell increase? Most of the traffic, is not real. You can use the classified ad. It has a option, to get your targeted city. You can use this one.
