Cpanel stats and google analytic stats are not the same amount of visitors

Why is it that the amount of unique visitors in my cpanel stats is different compared to the google analytic stat on my website?

Are the daily crawls of the search engines are included in the unique visitors?

It's been awhile since I've used Cpanel. Does it still use AWStats? Whatever stats package you have on your control panel most likely reads your Apache log files. Google Analytics uses Java Script to detect visitors. The numbers will never be the same. Your log files will pick up on the countless bots, scrapers, and users who have Java Script turned off.

    cPanel (awstats) can include bots.
Google can be blocked by NoScript and AdBlock.

You meant that the google stats is only recording the real people that clicked your link. So the bases of a real traffic is from google.

Google gives the better stats of the two, since what Google shows are actual visits. Even though the numbers may be lower than the actual value, it usually isn't that far off as compared to Awstats.

Awstats has its own uses, but as far as unique visitors go, Google is better.

Google will not count bot visit and exclude visits which you set from your analytics dashboard. Also if visitors not stay until code is executed than it will not count their visit.

Because all these things are unreliable. Some are just less reliable than others.

Web-based technology is never fully reliable - get used to it. The fewer technological things you have to depend on, the better.

Here's the thing: it doesn't matter very much, in the overall scheme of things. What you might need to be able to do is form a clear impression of when traffic goes up, and when it goes down, and by how much. And you can do that easily enough just by choosing one measurement-method and sticking to it. You can actually form a clear enough impression of those things, for most purposes, even if the numbers you're looking at aren't entirely accurate.
