Need Help?...3 Simple Ways You Can Get an Experienced Marketer to Help You

Hi,

I was looking at some posts about asking
for help from the other Warriors.

I would like to share 3 simple ways which anyone
can ask for help from other Warriors.

1. Do a proper search using the Search function

When you have a question, I am sure it is classified under a certain topic such as "Adsense", "blogging", "squeeze page"

Identify that these are keywords which you can easily key into the search function.

Spend about 10 mins searching for it and I am sure you can get to read similar thread which you can learn from.

Even if they do not address your question, you can pose in the same thread and other Warriors will most likely respond because you bother to spend time searching for it and you replied in a related thread.

I always go to the profile url and click on "past posts" or "past threads started by the warrior"

You will be surprised to find more gems of knowledge littered among the many posts and threads.

Open a notepad and copy and paste those notes you want to keep for future reference.

2. Ask what you can contribute to other Warriors

What you want to seek may or may not be found in the forum. We won't know.

Warrior forum is very big and Google is much bigger.

Go to Google.com to search for what you want. You may find something useful and what you can do next is contribute what you have found in the forum.

Post what you have found. I am sure many Warriors will appreciate your posting because you are helping and what you have solved may be same as what others are facing too.

This is a good approach because...

firstly, you have learnt how to solve your future problems by looking at other sources

secondly, you get to help other Warriors and I do believe in the replies of the thread you started, there will be new ideas and comments and you will grow to a higher height in the process of sharing what you know.

This is the best gift you can give for yourself because the eagerness to learn and to solve your own problems is one of the very important factors to succeed in your business.

3. Be respectful and share genuine interest in what other Warriors are doing

Yes, there are many experienced marketers in this forum such as Michael Mayo, Andy Henry, Bev Clement and many more...

They are very busy people and I really appreciate their time for coming to this forum to see what sort of help they can give.

Of course, they can't help everyone here but what I respect most is they are always eager to give back to the forum.

So if you want to learn more about specific topic, go check out their signature for their blog urls, sales pages etc...

Go find out what they are doing.

You can always use the PM feature and first share with them specifically what you like about their work and ask a question.

If they reply, thank them. Give them 2 to 5 days. It is worth the wait.

If they don't reply, no hard feelings. Most likely they didnt check their PM. Drop them a reminder.

Respected Warriors like John Taylor, Paul Myers will do their best to help. Sometimes they are just too busy, they will reply they can't help at the moment.

Respect them...thank them and move on...At least now you are taking action to control your destiny and guarantee your own success.

Another way is opt into their list and follow their newsletters..go read their blogs...

In summary, you realise what I have shared here is these you can do...it is only when you take ownership of your life and your action...you will succeed...

My 2 cents,
John

it's good that starter make use of the search function before opening another thread and asking the same question that has been answered in the past.

Absolutely, i am amazed at the number of times warriors have to be reminded to LEVERAGE on the WF search engine, but anyways, great initiative from John to bring up those points. Very helpful for new members!

Very true TL...what we need is all here...

Some are free; others are not...

The key thing is how you ask...even if it is a paid one, we should still
ask nicely and continue to build on a long term working relationship...

As long as everyone is enjoying their stay in this forum, it makes it
a better place for yourself and for your business.

Awesome post and great advice indeed... acting first and learning to solve the little random problems that pop up on your own initiative leaves you free to ask advice on the things that really are crucial to your success - and act on them.

      Hi Harry,

Yes solving our own problems by ourselves is faster...and if
it is still not solved when we tried, it is ok to ask....Warriors
are around to help, aren't we?

Indeed, very informative post. I have seen a lot of guys making a new thread for something that is made. So yea...the search function plays a big role, before making a new thread, search for what you have to ask!

I got another one for you

    Post in the correct forum

I can make a really big difference in the types of responses you receive.

People in the SEO forum keep their fingers on the pulse of the SEO world. By asking SEO questions in there you are much more likely to receive a more thorough, accurate, and up-to-date set of answers than you will in the main discussion forum.

People that frequent the copywriting forum eat, sleep, and breath copywriting. When you want help with your sales letter or squeeze page, posting in the main discussion area will get you a lot of "I think it looks nice", "the lay out i clean", "I don't like the color". On the other hand, posting the same question in the copywriting section will usually result in your page getting picked apart by experts in ways that you would never imagine.

There are only a limited number of people on this forum that spend more time marketing to the offline crowd than the online crowd. Guess where they hang out to discuss these things? (hint - it's not the main discussion area)

Want to post an awesome story, speech, or youtube video about "never giving up", or perhaps you want to tell us about what you learned in your latest Tony Robbins seminar? As cool as it may be, it's really not about making money (directly), so post it in the mind warriors section and all of you "mind warriors" can talk among each other about how motivated you are.

"has anyone tried ______, was it any good/worth the money" ... Yep, we have a forum for that too.

You get my point. By posting in the correct forum, you will get targeted answers, save the mods the trouble of having to move your post, and keep clutter out of the main discussion area. It's a win-win for everyone.

Here's a quick tip to make searching more productive.

If you're looking for a popular subject, the on-site search can bring back so many results that it can be discouraging.

So use our 'friend' Google to help.

Start with a general query, say article marketing...

      "article marketing" site:www.warriorforum.com
Adding site:www.warriorforum.com to the query restricts the results to the Warrior Forum. If you get too many results, you can refine your search terms to hone in on what you want.

You can also restrict your search to a particular section, like this:

"article marketing" site:Warrior Special Offers Forum
That search would bring up only pages in the WSO section. Again, you can fine-tune your search terms to find what you want.
