A complete overhaul of my product. Questions about Solo Ads and the like.

I just finished a complete overhaul of my webpage and my product. I basically just gave everything a nice facelift. I tried to focus more on my target audience than I did before and I think everything looks 1000x more professional now. I would love some feedback in regards to the new look and copy. I am really ready to get this site out there. My site was converting before although at a pretty low percentage but I do make a small amount of money from it. I think the new look and feel will help the conversions but it is too early to tell. I also honed my copy in to really appeal more to the super caring dog owner. I just finished the page today.

Anyways, I have been reading some threads and seen people mention solo ads. What are they exactly? I am a little unclear on the subject. What about email marketing? Can I buy targeted list. I am willing to invest some money into getting it out there but I want the most bang for my buck. I know that the magic question is always how can I get more traffic? But... I have tried SEO, article writing, I do get hits but I need much more then I am getting. I would love for it to rank really high organically but I haven't been that successful in that area to date.

My next step is to give the facebook page a facelift and then I was thinking about doing some facebook advertisements. Has anyone had any luck with those for products of this type? Thanks so much in advance.

    I was just browsing and noticed that nobody has replied to you :O

    First of all - the site looks cool, I like it

    Secondly - Solo Ad's / Text based ads are things like FB ads and Google Adsense. They are little blocks of text adverts which can be a really good source of quality traffic.

    Google itself actually has some really good guides to get you started (they teach a lot about SEO too if you're interested) - Just Google it, and look through their webmasters section.

    Otherwise try advertising in local and national magazines - I know there are tonnes of dog lovers and there are many a popular publication which be the perfect place to promote your product because it's super-targeted.

    No, they are not.

    Solo ads are an email you send to some one else's list for a fee. They are called solos because yours is the only message included.

    Dear OP, be very careful who you listen to around here. A lot of these people don't have a clue and have no problem spouting BS!
