Adsense requires a lot of traffic in order to make a decent profit. I would suggest looking into how you can sell stuff on your site (e-commerce, affiliate, your own products, digital products, etc.)

We have to see your site man - that's like saying "somethings wrong with my car, can you tell me what it is?" without bringing your car to the mechanic

I guess someone with more adsense experience may know but I only see one adsense spot on top of your page surely some adsense text ads in the side bar would up earnings? However I think you need to look at other income streams.

This is true - you MIGHT want to ask a mod to move this to the ADSENSE forum being that your profits are mostly from there. I like the site, but I'm by all means not an adsense pro like others here are.

What's the bounce rate on this website and average visitor time? Again adsense experts may know better but I have a feeling that email list pop up may make people weary and push the back button.

And if I am understanding correctly adsense is your only revenue stream therefore list building although a good idea for future revenue streams I think its is highly diluting time on your website and therefore your chances of getting an ad click.

If it were my site I would test having my lead generator in the side bar only and remove the popup I would be surprised if doing this alone doesn't decrease bounce rate .

I think you should choose some relevant CPA/CPL offers in order to get conversion and making money from the traffic you receives, well I would like to mention that 1,300 visitors a day is really a big achievement and you should not waste them.

Create an email list and find relevant affiliate programs in order to make big money online.

If you're getting that many visitors a day then you need to start collecting a database and building your list bar none...

If you want to get quick profits that will die down quickly then adsense and promoting affiliate products straight out of the gate will be your best option...

If you're wanting profits long term(that is residual) then you need to be building your list and have a nice strong follow up sequence that builds rapport with your subscribers.

Is adsense still a viable income source for beginners or do you need a massive blog to do it?

You see one of the big major problems with new internet marketers is that they start driving traffic to their website and expect profit.

Ask yourself, would you be clicking ads on other peoples websites?
Do you provide valuable content to your readers?

The first question would be: Where does your traffic come from? Adsense conversion would depend on who your primary visitors are and if the ads that are being presented to them are highly relevant with their needs. The next thing to consider will be the ad placement. Are they too intrusive or too overwhelming? Sometimes how you present the ads matters.

The google adsense income can be increased by optimizing the ad placements and blocking the low earning ads using block option.

This is a little of an aside about ad placement...

We don't do Adsense, but about 3 years ago when other bloggers were recommending placement of Adsense ads above the fold, we set up about 40 different autoblogs in a variety of niches, from Celebrity to Insurance, and we experimented with ad placement and found a much, much better ad spot.

Now you might not want to do this if your traffic is mostly from Google search. You guys know what Google penalizes now and what they don't better than I. As I stated, we don't depend on Google much now in our business, and I no longer keep up with the Google animal kingdom.

But what we found is that the best spot for ad clicks using Adsense was above the Header of the site....specifically, we placed 2 leaderboard banner ads side by side above the header so that the left ad showed up as close as possible to the browser back button. And for us that ad spot got 5 to 6 times more clicks than the recommended "above the fold" ads (ads above each post), and 10 to 14 times more clicks than sidebar ads and footer ads.

And this result was consistent across all niche sites we set up. We were driving traffic to those sites back then with a Twitter software some of you may remember called Tweet Attacks Pro.

Our method at that time was to initially set up all Twitter accounts as Justin Bieber Fan accounts, because those people follow back at a greater percentage than other types of Twitter accounts. Then after we had a bunch of Bieber followers for each account, we'd change the whole account up to match the niche topic of each autoblog.

A few of the Bieber followers would drop off, but not that many, and we'd quickly set up Tweet Attacks Pro to mass follow targeted people for the different niches. So the purpose was to quickly build up followers with the Bieber crowd so we could do more follows per day much faster than normal for new Twitter accounts.

And that worked. We made some good money that way with Adsense and built up traffic fast with those Twitter accounts. Even the insurance autoblogs did good - less traffic but a lot more cash per click.

But we ended up getting into Offline Marketing instead of spending time with autoblogs (the writing was on the wall) - plus Tweet Attacks Pro stopped working, so we just moved on...

I saw the top AdSense add on only the home page not when I clicked on others. I would take a look into that. I would figure also figure a way to get Amazon banners on to the site and search for higher paying affiliate offers too.

The viewers that come to your site may see a game they don't own. Then decided to purchase they game after they viewed it on your site. Tie a link in there to make it happen.

I like the site, Just not familiar with games but you have a lot of great information there. Good Luck
