Coupon code generator

Hey all -

Can anyone recommend a good coupon code script or product? What we'd like to do is place it on our sales page, showing 'Enter Coupon Code Here' and have it change the prices of the services (if the code is correct).

It would need a control panel where we could login and create, manage, and track unlimited codes, including the ability to set different discounts, different terms, etc.

We'd like it to be able to integrate with a payment program, such as paypal, so that when someone clicks through to paypal, it tracks the actual purchases using each code.

We actually had a company creating a script for us, but they have disappeared and we still don't have the product.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Ted

You can do this with a shopping cart. Are you not wanting to use a shopping cart? That would make it an easy process.

Our Secure Shopping Cart will integrate into any website quickly and easily! We also have a Wordpress plugin to make any Wordpress site a full fledged Ecommerce site.

Rapid Action Profits supports doing this but instead of being a coupon code box on the page you enter it into the URL. The advantage of that is people don't know there is a discount coupon out there unless they are directed through the right link, which stops regular customers from discount hunting when they see the box.

I am searching for this also. I am offering a 3 DVD set on Paydotcom with the payment going through PayPal ($197). We want to create a way to offer a 50% coupon for a few JV Partners.

Can we offer this through PDC or PayPal directly? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ted! I think 2CheckOut has a coupon option if you want to use them to handle payments.

Incansoft has a little program called "EZ Coupon Manager". I don't think it's as robust as you want but it does the job. It does keep stats and you can control the expiration date.

The coupon manager creates a script that you place on the sales or order page. The script displays a coupon box with a button. If no code is entered the normal price is used. If the correct code is entered the page is refreshed with another page that's an exact copy of the sales page, except that it's order button is now coded to use a discounted price.

It's tedious having to create another sales page, but it works. One thing I don't like is that you can only use a 4 digit number (or 5, I can't remember). I wish you could use letters to make some type of word.

To learn more about 'EZ Coupon Manager' go to the product catalog at incansoft.com There are quite a few nifty scripts there. Put yourself on their list. They're always running sales where you can buy any script for $7.77 or something like that.
