How to keep flash banner ads below 150kb?

I recently outsourced my creative banner designing out.

The guy did a good job, but he doesn't know how to keep it below 150kb.

Any idea how to?

And off hand what are the networks that allow greater than 150kb flash banner ads.

Google for one is limiting it at 150kb. A bit ridiculous for a flash banner.

Thanks guys.

Change your provider lol. The reason you outsource is to avoid stress and get things done that you don't know how to do yourself.

You should be clear about exactly what you want doing, and if your designer doesn't know enough about filesize etc then just move on to find someone who does.

      Yea, exactly.

I was thinking exactly that. haha

      But I already paid upfront.

And he told me he could do this and that. Later he say he have problems with this and that.

Initially he didn't know how to make it stop after 30sec which is google's rule.

So one factor is that I already paid upfront, so I just thought maybe someone may have a simple suggestion that could help him as well.

So he learns and I also don't need to go through the hassle to find another guy.

Switch to HTML 5. It should be smaller and it will play on iOS and Linux, as well.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.
