Problems with IM Products/Ebooks Nowadays

What are some of the frustrations and problems you came across internet marketing products and ebooks you're constantly run into?

For me, I guess it seems like the products are getting too similar. Some have basic information but lack quality content. They don't really show step-by-step videos or instructions. I'm talking mostly about ClickBank products here.

JVZoo has better price. Yet, I see some of the products there lack on content too. I'm always weary when I hear new products being launched...unless it's from one of the tops IM gurus. Even then, I feel some of them just reused their old materials.

Is it just me running into mediocre products? What do you guys think?

Yea I feel you bud. Who to trust, if then if you trust someone, what they are saying/selling is it old info that worked for them years ago and now they are letting the cat out of the bag, sorta things. Who knows.

what I think - there is no need to read long and super hyped ebooks to actually perform a little task in a very long structured way, so to the point and step by step ebooks are good option to choose and go through but the price should not be more than the value offered.

Well, there are only so many interesting/useful things to write about. Considering how many products that are launched every day, it's not really surprising that most of them contain rehashed, useless content. How to easily spot the gems among all this? No idea...

The only advice I can give is really researching the author and not making any impulse buys based on hype. And try to just buy ONE product for each thing, so like one SEO guide, one Wordpress guide, etc.

They all lack actionable information. The only guide I've read since the year began that is actually worth reading is Bring The Fresh produced by Kelly Felix.

It depends, I suppose, on who the seller is. When one of the big guys launches, you mostly know the product will at least teach you one gem. When it's guys without a reputation who launches, you have to roll the dice.

Thank you for all of your comments. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who sees the trend. Since being in the internet marketing field, I like to see what else is new in the industry. It's kind of disheartening when I see misleading products. I think it might be time to just create my own system that worked for me.

Everyone who comes with a new wso has reviewers claiming that the OP is trusted, has top products on the shelf and the past history was amazing.

I am like—wow, never even heard of this guy. Is that all true?

If I end up buying something, I find that the methods are either way above my head, require tons of investment, consist of methods that don't work — that it is simply impossible to take action.

It's pointless most of the times.

I wonder how they come up with those positive reviews. You'll see many positive reviews in the sales thread but when you purchase it, all you'll get is rehashed information. It's better to read free information and use some service WSOs to automate some aspects of your strategy than purchasing an ebook WSO.

Welcome to the internet marketing info product!

Just like with anything, information is everywhere on the web.

The point of buying info products is to learn that ONE nugget...

You guys are seeing things all wrong.

Yes - the cb and jvz products are lacking quality content.... so what?

So... this is YOUR opportunity. This is YOUR chance to get a strangle hold on the market by being "that guy" who DOES make quality information products.

You are fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time noticing the right things. Now make good use of that or lose your good fortune.

There is too much clutter. Nobody really is trying to add value.. Everyone are copying eachother and then putting a price tag on it, which is okay

It really gives advantage to those who do produce value.

One of the better things that you can do is hang out in the warriors for hire section and get hold of the wso sellers who wish to give a review copy.

No a single dime is wasted and once or twice you get products that are life-changing.
