spiritual or health niche..? which is more profitable

Hi guys..

I am planning to develop a site in to spiritual niche. I have domain name registered last year spiritualuplift.com for this purpose. Can you guys tell me how profitable is this niche? what kind of site I should create- membership site or a blog site focusing on adsense and amazon affiliates?

I have one more domain called healthslab.com This can be developed as a health/ medical website.

which niche would be more profitable? what are the best monetizing options?

both this domain were registered last year. Does this be beneficial for ranking?

Neither of these are niches. They're both multi billion dollar MARKETS. I think you need to narrow down your market a lot before you do anything.

Health is everything from bandaids to diets to exercise to surgery to hemorrhoids to herpes, etc., etc., etc.
A niche within the health MARKET might be holistic home remedies or gluten free biscuits. NO ONE can be successful targeting the broad MARKET, health. Good luck.

I know of quite a few affiliate programs offering $100+ per sales for the spiritual and psychic niche. As for health offers its a lot more competitive but also yields high commissions.

Something health related would be far more profitable. That market has more hungry buyers trying to solve a problem - and they're more willing to pay for it.

You don't usually get into spiritual related products with profit as a first priority. Usually you have a passion first and then look to profit, so you can continue your passion.

As travlinguy stated, you'll need to focus deeper into the health related market to call it a niche. Specialize in something. This is the age of specialization. Specialist in everything make the most money, whether doctors, attorneys or Internet Marketers.

In my opinion both of them are good. But I think the one that would be better to begin with is health. Once you have that rolling in some money then start working on the other one.

    And good luck!

    It doesn't matter.

To you, it matters only which is more profitable to you.

Neither is a niche, anyway. They're both "markets". "Health" is one of the world's biggest markets, and "spiritual" is pretty enormous, too. They each contain very large numbers of different niches, any one of which might be good for you, according to your own skills and knowledge.

You perhaps need to start by choosing a niche. At the moment, you're a long way from that.

"Ranking" is unlikely to help you much in those areas. This thread explains why: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8659398

I mean "a long way from choosing a niche", because "health" isn't a niche: it's one of the biggest markets in the world. And spirituality is a pretty big market, too - rather than a niche.

Look, here's the bottom line, very succinctly: IM success is about quality and relevance, and in this context, "relevance" means "targeting".

"A niche should be an inch wide and a mile deep", as the saying goes.

Well, it depends on your skills. But setting up your own business tends not to be too "immediate", you know? I hope I'm saying this helpfully, rather than critically, but I had some really useful skills, right at the start, and I still didn't earn anything until my 4th month (maybe very end of the 3rd month, I can't quite remember, now). It's just not "immediate".

If you need "immediate" income, this thread may help (seriously - there are hundreds of ideas in it): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...desperate.html

Also, selling a service which is already in demand tends to be a pretty fast way of earning something. What marketable skills do you have?

: I feel I can be a great Seller once I have an online product like ebooks etc, I can build good network on FB, and other social networks.

In either case you definitely want to par down a bit more. You are looking to more of a larger market with spiritual or health... you can may be combine these and focus on spiritual based healing efforts for body pains... or spiritual gardening or healthy living raw food diets

Once you can focus in a little bit more -- ideally focusing on solving a problem within the markets you will better be able to determine which market to focus on and where to dig in to find your niche.

First ask yourself what you're interested in the most, that wll help to keep you motivated and you won't give up easily because you get bored about the subject.

I think most money can be made in health related niches. The market is much bigger too and it's easier to sell.

Do affiliate networks have good spiritual offers? I found some things on clickbank, but I just can't promote them. I feel like a scumbag doing so and its insulting to promote absolute garbage - there are other books I can promote, but what kind of offers are out there. I just applied for the affiliate network and while I can do amazon and ebay products it just doesn't seem like very good conversions.

I think the spiritual niche is huge. Paradoxically I feel like its not necessary to purchase a product for spirituality, but hell if people want to do so thats fine by me. I enjoy writing about it at least.

And whoever said that people would rather solve their physical problems. The drug industry in the US is exploding with people buying psych drugs and trying to solve their mental problems. It either is already or will become a bigger market than pure physical health. Although the two are closely related. I have a few niche ideas that I think I could maybe cross promote.

Is this a trick question? The Health niche is a Trillion dollar industry, it is way far more profitable than the spiritual niche
