What exactly is an 'internet deal broker', and what sort of deals do they broker?

A while ago I saw a DVD about making big money as an 'internet deal broker' by a guy named Jim Sheridan. What exactly is an 'internet deal broker'? I presume it's just a middleman between two parties, who arranges the deal and gets a percentage of the sale? What sort of products and/or services can I broker online, and how is it done?

Thanks.

    • "Internet Deal Broker" isn't a term that's used widely.

Basically, it's the same as Deal Broker, but on the internet.
Suppose I have a domain and I want to sell it! Problem, I don't know how to! Jack comes along and offers to sell it for me and keep 10% commission. A week later, I sell the domain and paid Jack - Jack could be classified as "Internet Deal Broker"

If you apply the arbitrage methods (Buy Cheap Sell High), then you're brokering in your niche. Since you're doing it on the Internet, hence the term is coined.

Products you could Broker are, but not limited to the following :
Fiverr (dot) com Gigs, Domain Names, SEO services, Website Building, Graphics, Article Writing etc

Just head over to ODesk or Elance and you can become a broker for anything you see being offer if you offered them to your clients for premium.

      Hope it helps.

Yes, that makes sense. Do you know if there are any products or services I could broker where I could make larger amounts per deal? (Like £500 to £1000, maybe more?)
