What is the value of autosurfing?

I see one of the things that AddMeFast offers is autosurfing. You can earn points by visiting sites. Why would anyone want to have these people visit their site?

    Usually people do this do boost traffic stats to their site. Then turn around and try to sell the site. Remember, to always ask for Google analytics prior to purchasing a site. Another reason people do this is to try and inject malware, stuff cookies, etc.

        Yeah, like I said people will use it to boost up their traffic stats in order to show end users that they are getting "more visits". As far as legit reasons... I don't think there are really any for auto surfing.

    Because they've deluded themselves into thinking they might get a lead or two out of it, when really all they're getting are other people with their own traffic-generating who are thinking exactly the same thing.

    I think people use autosurf programs in order to get people to view there own websites to either increase the email subscriber list or increase sales but it doesn't work very well as everyone on these autosurf websites are doing the same and no one is buying there product or subscribing so there isn't much value in autosurf programs plus as trance92071 suggests people also use autosurf programs to increase traffic so they can sell there website or use it to inject malware, stuff cookies.

    The best way to increase traffic to your website is by using social networks, video marketing, article marketing, PPC, Joint ventures, solo ads, ad swaps and so on.
