Hi, other than having access to Google Analytics / Webmaster Tools, is there any other way to identify a sites traffic? What programs / apps / sites provide that?

Let me know. Thanks.

The only person who knows for sure what traffic he's getting is the website owner. (or the hosting account reps could peek in on the account stats)

Alexa and all the rest are only guesses... based on minimal information.

But the only traffic that matters is your own, anyway... I don't care what other people get... even when I buy advertising, I like to buy results... Don't tell me that my banner is being seen by 150,000 visitors a month - I'm looking at my incoming traffic from that banner - and that is the only number I'm concerned with...

It has to do with something else. This is for work not my own business.

I typically just look at Alexa. But a website's traffic flow doesn't mean anything. A site with a 3,000,000 Alexa ranking can be making $3,000+ a month - while a site with a 100,000 Alexa ranking can only be making $300+ a month. Don't put much emphasis on it. Find the secret money places online, and focus on that. Anybody that tells you otherwise shouldn't be listened to. Forget traffic stats... i know how to explode my Alexa ranking at the drop of a dime. But what good would it do me if i'm not making any money?

I have found similarweb.com to be AMAZINGLY accurate. It honestly makes Alexa look like a relic of the 90's. For my very high trafficked sites, similarweb is almost spot-on.

    Well, you can use

    websiteoutlook dot com

it is a good website to give estimation of traffic, countries of visitors, page views, estimated daily earning etc.

I have been playing with this website for more than 8 years, and I see it provides accurate result..

For example, check your own site with this websiteoutlook dot com to know how effective it is.... as you already be knowing visitors of your own site...

I give it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.....
