How to do continuity properly

I have an ebook that sells on clickbank. I have a membership site that uses paypal for payment. Same niche. When customers buy my ebook I want to give them a 30 day free trial to my membership site but don't know how to set it up.
I am guessing that perhaps I need to get my customers to pay via paypal instead of clickbank for the ebook? Is that correct? Then, when they go to pay via paypal, is that where I put in my squeeze page to say "customize your oder, bla bla bla, and tell them that I giving them a free trial and give them a box to tick to say that they understand, etc?"
I am not a technician and have no idea, but if someone tells me I can pass on the info to my technician.
My memebrship site uses amember, in case that part is important. When people sign up for the membership site they pay $1 for a 30 day trial and that is what I want to use when people buy my book. Please exaplina HOW I actually do it, please, and am I on the right track?
many thanks

I think you're on the right track. I think you can set up a squeeze page or OTO on you clickbank product page.

Either way, get their name & email, and SEND THEM a followup email with the free trial (not $1, as they just bout an ebook, right?)

I am a tech for others too. I've done a couple of continuity sites for my customers. They're awesome.
