So one of my old wso made 2 sales today and twice by two different people they disputed the payment straight away. Why is this?

Well that's basically all it is. It's obviously people just trying to get your product for free. These scammers are rife in this industry.

Yeh they should be able to investigate to see if there is any foul play going on. It could be just a coincidence as many people are suggesting.

Let me know if you need any help with Warrior Payment. Feel free to PM me.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

As pointed out, this is not a WarriorPlus specific problem, and no payment platform is immune...

...this is why most of them have BIG warnings not to approve affiliates you don't know.

(Though most vendors do...but they ALSO do a bit of due diligence -- if they are on the WF -- they look at their profile, posts, length of time on the forum, warroom membership, usernotes, etc. If not, I know WarriorPlus has links available -- if the applying affiliate uses them...for, I think, facebook and linkedIn ... so you can do further research. Finally, if you re part of any jv groups or small communities...you can ask.)

...there are scammers of all kinds...including affiliates who have websites where they give, as bonuses...the premium products of other vendors, without permission...you probably don't want THOSE kinds of affiliates, either.

...not to mention those who sell your products under false pretenses (that is, they WAY outsize any claim of results you may have made. Although results claims is a tricky area of its own -- far too big to get covered on this thread and keep it on topic.!)

          Also checkout JVZoo.com.

It's what most vendors are using these days.

It doesn't matter what payment platform the OP uses - what is important to the OP is how to deal with serial refunders - you seem to be suggesting that WarriorPlus are somehow to blame for what happened to this guy's WSO - when most of us with experience see it for what it really is - not a payment platform fault at all but someone who is trying to scam the seller.

There are some posters in this thread that seem to be mildly irritated at Admin for bringing up Warrior Payments.

This is not the Warrior+ support forum. Sooo....

I think the point was. Alaister said he would look into it. He did and found Warrior+ was the payment processor. He came back and give further input where he made a true statement and asked a legitimate question, "I see you are using Warrior+. You might want to contact their support to see what is going on" (We can't help you with that-implied) "Have you considered using Warrior Payments?" (Implied- And we will be glad to help out.)

Of course as long as posts like this are allowed we are all free to help out all we want. And I really appreciate the helpful Warrior spirit. I would have suggested some things that others already did. I didn't want to repeat.

I wouldn't expect the management here to do anything else but say, "If you want our help, use our product." Heck, another poster even suggested JVzoo. LOL

Go to the Adobe forum and ask a support question about Gimp and see if they don't either ignore you, delete your post or find a way to recommend PhotoShop.

well, perhaps - I am a bit sensitive about the payment platform issue, I'll admit that - there are always different ways of looking at things so thanks for reminding me

    Odd.

Flukes do happen. Not an "intelligent" answer per se but that's what I'd chalk it up to.

Either that or it's your signature.

Sometimes, especially if I create a post that gets popular, I'll get a flurry of sales. Also, WSOs get indexed so perhaps that?

Did they buy through an affiliate?

Mike Lantz just banned an affiliate this morning to investigate apparent fraudulent transactions. That is, purchases with stolen bank or PayPal accounts.

What happens is the affiliate gets the stolen info, "refers" a sale so they get paid a commission, and then the victim submits an unauthorized transaction request in PayPal.

To compound problems for sellers the transaction cannot be reversed on your end through WarriorPlus. (Due to the way PayPal works.) You eat the entire loss and the scammer affiliate can get paid.

      What to do:

      1. If there is a referring affiliate, possibly the same for both sales, you need to immediately ban the affiliate.

      2. Submit a report to the WarriorPlus help desk.

      3. If there is an affiliate and apparent fraud, in PayPal submit a dispute against the affiliate payment and note the id of the original dispute and that this is an affiliate arrangement where someone is trying to rip you off. Ask that PayPal terminate the affiliate's account. Filing a dispute against the affiliate is really sneaky and in my experience works great against these scammers.

This is a problem in any selling platform, WarriorPlus, Warrior Payments, or others.

I have been on WarriorPlus long enough, and have so many products affiliate requests are made for, I can spot trends and thus many of the bots and scammers.

Warrior Payments is new, but I already have a long list of questionable affiliate requests. Unfortunately, you can't just use time on the forum as a criteria because accounts can be quickly created and then aged. The lack of posts is often a bigger tip-off.

Also People send you PMs after your WSO launched saying I want to promote your product to for example 5700 subscribers in my list. Firstly you should send me a copy of your product to review that. After you send the copy. You will never hear from them. They actually cheat people.

But when it's free no one takes action (Probably don't even read it). It's better to charge.

Well to be honest, you haven't lost money, because those people never intended to pay in the first place. However, this kind of rubbish is the stuff that makes your paypal account look bad, and paypal may eventually penalise you for it.

It aint nice. But this stuff happens. Paypal overly favour customers and blindly believe what they say.

My wild guess is that these are scumbags from black-hat sites that buy your product, instantly refund and then share on their pathetic forums.

Could also be bad luck that you got 2 freebie seekers in a row.

Either way... it happens. Deal with it. Sorry

One thing about freebie seekers - is that they are obsessed with getting something for nothing. I used to be like this - let me tell you - it usually leads to a dead end. I didn't start making money until I learned the art of giving. Instead of feeling bad for your pockets, you should feel bad for these people - unless they change their habits, they will never achieve anything noteworthy - and if they do, they'll be miserable & lonely.

This just happened to me. An order followed by an instant paypal claim.
I have followed the suggested steps:
    1) Ban affiliate from promoting my product
    2) Ticket in warriorplus to investigate affiliate
    3) Dispute in Paypal to affiliate Payment

I'm sorry I had to spend some unplanned time this morning on this, but I'm happy I now know about this type of scam so I'm more careful with affiliate selection.
