I have a site, but...

Ok, I have made my blog a couple of days ago (link on signature), the design seems great and professional, I have started to post stuffs, etc... but now I need traffic.

So, how can I get good traffic to my blog? I have already submitted it to search engines, posted some videos online, opened a Twitter account (I have like 80 followers now... not bad for 3 days I guess) and I'm going to post a lot on Yahoo Answers and high PR forums. Anyone have other tips and tricks to get a lot of traffic? Like free ebooks?

And if you have any suggestion to improve my site just let me know. Thanks!

    people are neglecting traffic from blog carnivals. submit your blog to blog carnivals, write press releases and submit to press release directories, blog directories, rss feeds, social bookmarking as said above

      Could you expand on this a little bit? I understand the concept (find a hungry lunch crowd BEFORE opening the hot dog stand) but I don't understand how to find the audience on the internet FIRST??

    Poglia, what one does usually aside from what you mention is either buy traffic with PPC like Adwords or Facebook (which I don't recommend if you are starting out), or start to write articles on your topic and submit them to directories like ezinearticles.com.

    There are heaps of traffic strategies out there, the quickest way is ppc, but yeh as harry said stick with free traffic sources first, then when you make some sales you can then think of reinvesting it into payed traffic.
