Create a nice landing page and built a subscriber list with some Free Quit Smoking Content, build the list, value the list, find an affiliate program for Quit Smoking products and target the list with the product.

Self explanatory, people love to rant, have them rant on your site about their jobs, run a "best rant" contest to produce some traffic, build memberbase, and then continue to run or sell for a few thousand.

Some more in my head, but I have to drink my coffee now...

- Throw up a wordpress blog site, and put an optin form up top with a free (plr) "quit-smoking" ebook.

- Also include an optin for RSS updates

- Use one of the "drip-feeding" plugins to add a post every day, and maybe 2 a day.

- Create a twitter account, and use one of the plugins that will update the twitter profile every time a post is made on your blog.

- go out and follow about 300 people a day on twitter

- create a custom twitter backgruond for your twitter account.

- include some affiliate ads to "stop-smoking" products on the site.

- This way you can build a list... get tons of traffic... develop a relationship and put that domain to great use.

great ideas. I thought of quitsmoking blog but I think it would require a lot of content. Also, never thought a jos site. But great idea also.

you can also extend this by writing something motivational, more like a motivational blog to help depressed people come out strong, or have a section for motivational quotes of the week, it will go a long way for you cheers

Stop smoking is a very good niche for your domain..

I'd favour the quit smoking niche too. But just to give some more ideas

Jobs has been touched upon but if you have more experience in the IM/business niches you could use it as a motivational blog for quitting jobs and setting up in business... I know from experience how hard to can be to motivate yourself to quit even though every day working for someone else felt like 'a death'

Healthy eating - quit eating junk food/unhealthy food or die - allowing you to tap into the very lucrative weight loss/dieting/exercise niches.

Other addictions such as alcohol might also be looked at - perhaps a general quitting addictions forum?

smoking and bitchin about your job were the two that came to mind.

I'm thinking the 'stop smoking' would be your best bet...great idea guys.
