I want to earn passive income around $5-$10/day, what will I do?

Just like the title, I just want to earn some extra bucks with passive income, may you suggest me some ways to make this possible?
I don't have a lot of experience about it.
Thanks a lot.

The problem with new internet marketers like you is that they all think making money online is an easy quick solution.

Starting an online business will require hardwork and constant maintenance.

A best solution for you would be to start an affiliate website most likely with amazon affiliates.
Find a niche market and focus on building a website based on that product niche.

Become an authority (where people will go to you for the product) and hopefully your content is valuable enough to drive traffic to your website.

I agree with alvinhy. It takes a lot of work and persistence to make it happen on a consistent basis. I would suggest that starting out with simple PPC ads using Bing and a good converting affiliate offer would be something to think about. Wherever you start, just know that most marketers spend a year or two or three before a steady income can be realized. There's just a lot to learn. You can do it, but you will have to be patient!

Who said writing can't produce passive income. Posts written years ago make me affiliate sales, adsense money etc.

Posts written as guest posts on extremely good blogs bring me clients without any active marketing.

Writing is as passive an income source as it can get.

He is looking for a way to make a passive income, not offer services.

I suggest developing a website and target an easy market/niche, build content and back links, add adsense and with time if everything is done right, you should start making passive income.

Yes, maybe ... but after you tell me what you mean by "passive" income.

The reason I ask that is that I've been making my living through internet marketing for many years, and the longer I do it for, and the wider my experience is, the less convinced I am that there's really any such thing as "passive income" available. I think the expression's close to be being a slightly deceptive "advertising claim" that's crept into common parlance because people don't really think about what it means. It's also a term that different people use with very different meanings (which is why they're talking at cross purposes most of the time!).

All the kinds of online income I'm aware of are really derived by people using skills.

I have some articles "out there on the web" from as long ago as 2009 which continue to earn me some money every month, but even that isn't really "passive income" because I still have to do other things (such as checking regularly that whatever I'm promoting is still for sale, obviously, but a whole of other stuff, too), before it's ever money in the bank. I can pretend it's "passive", but it isn't really.

I agree with Alexa. I think the phrase passive income is really more of a buzz word phrase thrown around in various business models. You see it a lot in MLM. Even passive income streams seem to require a certain amount of maintenance.

I do disagree with some of the other posts. Making $5 to $10 a day is very easy online. Forget about passive and plan on investing 30-60 minutes a day at sites such as iWriter, Fiverr, and so on. After you earn your $5-$10 for the day invest another 30-60 minutes into learning Internet marketing skills. This forum is the best place for that.

Best of luck. Millions of us make money online everyday, so it is more then possible for you to as well!

Passive income exists, it's just difficult to obtain, that's all. However, note that "difficult" does not mean "impossible" -- and therefore, it exists.

For many years now, the best example i can give has always been Kindle publishing.

I have a close friend earning over $900/mo from a little over 30 books that were (mostly) outsourced back in 2012. No promotion or ongoing maintenance after publishing, either. We worked consistently to put them all out there at first, but it's been pretty much set-and-forget ever since.

That being said, I do believe that no passive income stream can be left untouched forever. You will have to perform a certain degree of maintenance (sooner or later) depending on the subject matter or niche.

Of course passive income exists. Of course passive income is possible. In brick and mortar business. Even in a Web publication venture where a one-man or one-woman operations outfit that promotes digital info products, either their own digital info products, or the digital info products of others for commissions. How?

When someone becomes the principal investor of a corporation or company or the sole proprietor of a business, which has all the executives, employees, suppliers, partners and contractors needed to run daily operations and implement as well as improve PPT investments (PEOPLE | PROCESSES | TECHNOLOGIES), and just decides to collect annual dividends than having responsibilities beyond making major investment decisions. That's for a brick and mortar business; and

A similar setup can also be arranged in a Web publication outfit...

Yep. Passive income doesn't exist in the form of "you get free money without working", which unfortunately is what most "how to make money online" product sales pages imply to their readers.

Passive income does exist in another form though, which is "work smart today and the work could generate income for you for years to come".

  • HaviasFrozen,

Consistent passive $150 to $300 / month income... Let's see...

Here's a simple and straightforward, but NEVER easy and guaranteed way, among many other ways, to do this:

LABOR CONTRACTING =>> I think in this forum, many call it "service arbitrage"...

What do you need to do? It's quite simple and straightforward, but NEVER quick and NEVER easy and NEVER guaranteed. Here's how:

Find a set of local or overseas companies that each wants to hire two to three remote contractors for a fixed $900 / month or so 1-year subcontract with a 3-month paid trial agreement. These can be for full time or part time writers with weekly work output quotas, full time or part time homebased phone and helpdesk support agents, etc. Then:

Find reliable contractors locally and / or in freelancing sites like Freelancer.Com and oDesk.Com who would be willing to sign a 1-year subcontract with a 3-month trial agreement with you so as for you to assign them to work with the companies that you signed up at slightly lower monthly rates, which would allow you to take a $50 / month per contractor cut for your remote workforce service marketing and management responsibilities. Next:

Sign up two to five companies for say collectively ten contractors, in order for you to earn $500 / month gross profits, then hire another freelancer who would be willing to fulfill daily remote workforce marketing and management duties for you at $200 to $350 per month...

With that setup =>> You'd be earning the $150 to $300 passive monthly net income that you want. I don't know what you mean by "passive", but this setup requires you to of course manage your remote workforce manager. However:

It's best for you to focus on a long term goal of establishing a global company with brick and mortar operations once you earn significant income from the setup above; and

Once you have a company with brick and mortar operations =>> You'd most likely have a simpler and more straightforward but NEVER quick and NEVER easy and NEVER guaranteed time getting prominent multinational corporations to sign up long term contracts with your company. So:

How do I know this works? Simple:

That's how my wife and I started in 2005. I now own and operate a 9-year old CERTIFIED MICROSOFT PARTNER global ICT consulting company with brick and mortar operations for our many departments, one of which is a multi-lingual call center; and

I've been totally blind since 2003...

There is no one-click "go" button that can spit out a few bucks a day!
You need to put some thought into it.

If you can write and have a creative mind, research blogging and begin on that route for things your interested in or could provide information on. I know a few bloggers who do it as hobby, but hell they work for it, and in return they are rewarded.

or fiverr as also mentioned, offer skills you have on marketplaces.

If it was that easy for folks to jump on line like it was a cash machine, there would be no value in anything.

As with all things in life, you need to work at it.

Its how YOU leverage them and you, that will either make you money or waste your time.

With 'passive income', you still have to do some initial work and get the ball rolling on content creation and promotion before any income starts to roll in. In other words, work now, profit later (sometimes much later).

That's the part many newcomers miss. They assume just because the income is passive, there will be no effort up front. You could be working a year or more to get a site to the point where it produces income passively and still would have to market (or pay someone to do this) to ensure it still gets traffic.

Unfortunately, this doesn't just apply to newcomers. Half the "veterans" on this forum love to preach that there's "no such thing" as passive income. I assume they say it because they, too, lack an understanding of what the word "passive" means in this context.

Every time someone mentions it, I always bring up things like Kindle publishing - based on personal experience, and the experience of many other authors here (and that is only one example of many forms of passive income).

    Havias,

$5 to $10 a day passive income is a small amount, so it's not too difficult to achieve. I think one of the best, if not THE best way to start making that amount of passive income is by making a few youtube videos. Decide on some way that you can provide value to people with videos, do some keyword research to optimize your video titles and descriptions and make about 10 youtube videos. Youtube has been one of the most-stable traffic sources that I know of, and for some reason, it seems to be really easy to get organic views from within youtube.

Your videos should only take about a month to 'mature' enough to start getting a good number of views each day, assuming you have properly optimized titles and descriptions. You also need to go setup an Adsense account. As others have mentioned, my second recommendation would be to get an Amazon Associates account and make a few pages on HubPages, which is still loved by Google right now. 10 articles on a site like that should have you earning at least $5 a day in a month or two with proper keyword research.

Or, if you have some starting capital, you could use a free platform like blogger and rent some high-PR links to send to some pages made to promote amazon products and get a good ROI. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I had the same question, so I spent the last month poking around the Warrior Forum and trying different directions. It seems like the answer to your question could be to find a good CPA offer and send some Bing Ads to it. Very little setup and not much effort, but a stream of income if you get a good one.

In other words, it takes lots of hard work and dedication to start a business online that creates you passive income like that. First step you should take, is find a good mentor. I have suggestions if you if you need.

I agree with the CPA/YouTube method. That is an easy way to make the "passive" income you are looking for though its not really passive. You have to create videos and learn how to syndicate them and you also have to learn and manage PPC campaigns if using Bing PPC, etc.

That being said, you can create YouTube videos and put a link to CPA offers in them. Create a blog and put the videos up on your own blog too. Oh yea, and also have a subsciber list on your blog so you can build a list to send your offers to as well.

Another way to make $10/day passively is to buy a rental property. Take out a mortgage on a condo/townhouse, rent it out at a rate that clears $300/mo after mortgage expenses.

Firstly, adjust your mindset. Don't think in terms how much you want to earn right off the bat. Find out what you know, what you have to offer and where you can help people with. Once you've got that down, you can ask yourself how can I get paid helping other people.

Website hosting is a good option for residual income as it requires the person to renew monthly. In this way, you only need a set number of customers (versus new customers) to earn the same money every day/month. You could become a hosting reseller and that will earn more than simply being an affiliate.

So many people competing in the freelance writer market, many willing to work for pennies on the dollar as to what a professional writer would get paid. And, even getting one $5.00 article a day is difficult as many on these gig sites are offering 2 articles for $5.00. For anyone trying to spend less time working, this won't be the ideal solution.

      ( Non-Affiliate Link ..)

Just google, "PLR product membership"..These are digital products that can be resold, even customized to your needs, brand..etc . Many of these products, come with a ready made sales page, graphics..etc

Get a domain, with hosting. That way you can set up your sales pages. You don't need a unique domain for each product you sell, just create a subdomain and make the main domain relevant to online sales / "digitalproductdeals.com" or something like that. After you set up your domain and open your website hosting account...

Upload your digital products to your AmazonS3 account. AmazonS3 is a file storage service provided by Amazon.com . They charge you a few pennies per download and it's free to store your files there up to a certain number of gigs. Storage is like 1 cent per gig, after you reach the limit.

Now that you have that set up, get a php script like LinkLokPaypal, by Vibralogix. This is a php script that will protect your AmazonS3 links and will automatically send your customers an email, after purchase, with the download links to the product. The script costs $29.00.

Now set up your sales page. You can use the sales page provided in the PLR product package or you can create your own. Use graphics provided to you from the PLR provider..Go to the graphics section. You'll find some graphics you can use on your sales page. Edit them using a free copy of Photoshop CS2 / Legacy Edition. This is a free legal copy of an older version of Photoshop. Just download it here:

Adobe Photoshop CS2 Trusted Freeware download and reviews - SnapFiles.com

... and here is the activation key:

      1045-0410-5403-3188-5429-0639

... You can then edit the graphics provided at the PLR site, for your sales page/s.

Sell a high value product at a low price. You're going to make money with volume. Invest in some pay per click advertising or pay per view. Start out with like $25, and test the product. If you make some sales, scale it up.

I make money via advertising campaigns, using pay per click and pay per view. If you offer a high value product, at an amazing price, you're going to have some high conversion rates. If you're selling a high value product for $9.00 or $5.00, and you send 10,000 people to your sales page, who clicked on your ad. You can get a 15% conversion rate. Typically, when I sell a high value digital product for a very low price, I get like a 8% conversion rate. So, 8% of 10K visitors, is 800 sales, at $5.00, that's $4,000. You can scale it up, as much as you want. Wax on, wax off. Rinse and repeat.

      #2:

You can start writing non-fiction / How To, Kindle books. Use a word processor like Microsoft Word or LibreOffice and save it as a doc file. Amazon will convert it for you. Go to eBook Cover Creator - Design Your Own 3D eCover online and make a 2d book cover. Or you can make one on power point or Photoshop.

You can download and install the desktop PC kindle reader, provided by Amazon. Buy a few 99cent or $2.50 kindle books on the topic you want to write about. Then buy a program like: EPubsoft Kindle MOBI AZW DRM Removal

Remove the kindle ebook file blocks and export the kindle book to a freeware program called CALIBRE. This will allow you to read your kindle in any format / PDF / HTML..You can then copy and paste the content of the kindle books you bought into your word processor and rewrite the content in your own words. You're not going to plagiarize the other books, you're just using them as a template / "skeleton", for your own ebook.

Don't worry, you'll find thousands of books on one particular topic or niche, and they're all selling. Many contain the same info, the author just delivers it differently, or better, than the other guy. You can find 100s of books on dog training, veggie juicing, raw food diet..etc "Making Money Online"..etc, thousands of books on the same exact topic.

Selling digital products, in my opinion, is the best way to make a passive income online. It's not entirely "passive", there's some work to be done, especially in the beginning, when you first start, but once you have several ebooks and products selling online, it's a breeze. It all compounds, and you find yourself making more and more money, with little effort.

    My Suggestion:

    1) Just invest some time to go through this amazing forum....
    2) Write down all ideas on a piece of paper.....
    3) Rank them as per ease of implementation & Investment
    4) Implement the best technique which you feel is giving you freedom of doing the maintenance of the work involved in the system as per your choice of time and duration.

    Best of Luck!

Passive income can be defined as (and this is the definition I use) "Work now for passive income later" And "Little or no work to maintain."

For your needs I'll say "Little work to maintain."

Start a membership site. (Work Now)

Charge $7 a month. (Work now)

    Get 50 members. (Work Now)

Maintain your site once a week. It will take about 3 hours. (Maintain)

When you discover that you need more than $300 a month, increase your member numbers.

Things you will have to learn to do this:

    1. How to set up a membership site.

    2. How to find products for your site.

    3. How to download or create products.

    4. How to upload products to your membership site.

    5. How to get new members to join and stay with you.

Everything above can be searched on this forum or Google it.

To get you thinking, here is a link to something I told another member as to how to start a membership site.

    http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...ml#post9445906

Many will tell you, and perhaps in many cases, rightly so, that you shouldn't start something like this when you are new. However, a few days or less researching and you are not new any longer. You can find out what people need and give it to them through your membership site.

Things people need and where you can get those things.

    1. Master Resell and Private Label Rights Articles, Reports and eBooks. Videos, Graphics, Software, and much more.
    a. Join other sites that provide those things and use selected items in your site
    b. Create products yourself
    c. Offer product creators exposure for donating products to your membership site
    d. Pay product creators for said products

    2. How to info about any and all subjects under the sun.
    a. b. c. d. See above

    3. Use your imagination. The Sky is the limit.

I know this is really a "fill in the blanks" post, however the blanks are easy research.

This is just another idea for you to consider along with the others in this thread. The human mind is a wonderful thing. Don't underestimate your ability think of how to accomplish your modest goal to make from $5 to $10 a day passive income online. You can do it.

    I wish you success,

Fiverr is passive? Really? Providing services is passive? Really?

These are NOT passive income. And as Alexa pointed out, very few things are completely passive.

You're asking the wrong question. In fact, the whole idea of "passive income" is a lie. And if your focus is on "passive income," your focus is totally on the wrong thing.

As mentioned in this article (The Top 4 Reasons Why 'Passive Income' Is A Dangerous Fantasy - Forbes), Bryan Franklin, a Silicon Valley executive coach, pointed out: that "...the fundamental flaw common to all intentions to create "passive income": the focus with such efforts is totally on the wrong thing.

'Every time I've seen someone create a business, with the ultimate intention of getting away from that business and its customers as quickly as possible, instead of moving towards that business and its customers, it fails.

"What makes business work is creating value. If you're going into the business with the intention of not creating value, but of having it magically provide money for you, then you often make really bad choices. The business that you're investing in or creating doesn't tend to be creating value for its customers or for anyone. So it doesn't tend to spit off the cash you're hoping it will. So many times I've seen people pursue passive income, and end up having active losses instead. They just spend a lot of time and money trying to push responsibilities off on other people and having it not work.'"

Another excellent article is The Myth of Passive Income & The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Online Business (do you agree?) | Live Your Legend

When people talk about "passive income", they're really talking about leverage. First, entrepreneurs figure out how to create value and then they automate that process. But there is ALWAYS work up front -- usually A LOT of work.

Once the up front work is done, the goal is to then leverage your time, money and expertise as much as possible for as much return possible. That DOESN'T mean NO work.

Unfortunately, the myth of passive income plays to our natural tendency to try to get something for nothing or to game the system, to feel like we've pulled one over on someone.

But if this is your driving force, you'll fail. You're much better off choosing a smart business model in a niche you're passionate about. Smart business models used by the wealthy include:

    1. Publishing
    2. Membership-based businesses
    3. Real estate

What a lot of Warriors fail to realize is that IM has a lot of leverage already built into it. You're not in a field doing farm work, getting paid on an hourly basis for your labor. The Internet is already a system of connected, automated processes. These models take it a step further.

If you offer services on an hourly basis, you can leverage and "productize" your services by creating info products around what you know and do. (This is the publishing model.) Now you've taken the hourly service work out of the equation. If you can sell enough info products to equal or surpass your service-based income, you've taken a GIANT leap forward in leveraging your business and increasing your income -- and freed up a LOT of time (which can now be used to generate MORE income).

But understand this: in ANY business, there is ALWAYS a certain amount of up front work. There is ALWAYS a certain amount of "maintenance" work (customer service, tech support, etc.). And there is ALWAYS marketing to do.

You can't get away from that -- unless you become a venture capitalist and just fund other people's businesses, invest in the stock or bond market, etc.

Bottom line: if you're looking for completely "passive income", you're just another idiot looking for something for nothing. People like this WILL fail -- and DESERVE to fail.

    Hello,

I remember when I was in your position and how much I wanted to make some extra income online. That was about 6 months ago. The first problem a newbie faces when making the decision to attempt to make money online is that it can be overwhelming and without proper guidance you can find yourself in a position of not making any real progress.

To overcome this I wrote down a plan of what I wanted to achieve each day. I tried to be a realistic with my objectives and sensible with my method of exercution. What I mean by that is..... I would give myself 6 hour day and within that 6 hour period I would include regular breaks and when working, I would make sure that anything that could distract me would be turned off i.e T.V or mobile phone. From there each day I would try to master one method of income. Learn everything about it from many reliable sources i.e forums etc... From there I would see how confortable I was with that method and if my personality would bring me the best results.

Preperation is the key to success!!!

Once you know the method you want to explore and you have an understanding of how it works then don't waste time talking. Focus and take action. Its as simple as that.

So with that said I would recommend to do the following.....

    • If you have skills i.e your good at writing or graphic design then look to become a freelancer.... Although its not really passive work, it can generate a regular income providing you have the ability to turn jobs over quickly and the work you produce is of quality.
    • If you don't have those kind of skills, then look to complete online surveys. Although Im not really a big fan, its certainly a decent way to make $5 - 10 a day. Its also take the pressure off you because its not really time consuming as you think. This will provide you with time where you could also learn a skill.
    • If you feel you want to learn a skill and your not in a hurry to earn money straight away, then look at doing the following.... Learn about affilate marketing. Its where I started and its not paticually hard to learn either. However with that said make sure that what you learn is from a reliable source i.e Warrior Forum etc and that you don't try to run before you can walk. What I mean by that is..... Learn everything about Affiliate Marketing, don't be afraid to ask questions etc...
The most important thing you need to understand is to make money online you need to understand yourself. Understand what going to motivate you when things don't go your way, understand how your going to manage your expectations, understand the level of commitment your going to put into this. Once your able to answer them with confidence then your ready my friend.

Sorry if I have been a bit vague with my answer but I didn't want to go into too much detail otherwise I would be writing a lot more. Please if you have any questions be sure to reach out and I be more than happy to provide you with more detail.

    Good Luck my friend

I know there are certain things you can approach that will eventually lead to passive income.

For me AdSense has always been Passive income.

But I have to note that at first you DO have to put in the work to get to that Level of Passive Income.

Plus with Algo changes and fickle Google, you NEVER know how long that Passive income will last.

So in the end, is there a way to have Passive income where you NEVER have to do anything ?

Well, that is very debatable. In all honesty, Iam inclined to say NO !

However, I do know a family friend who started an Insurance Company. And some Life Insurance policies he wrote 30 years ago he still gets residuals from that still today.

      That is pretty close

The ideal strategy is to become active in this forum so you can be seen, particularly in this area of it. Research what niche is hot right now and become familiar with it - buy a few WSO's on the niche.

Create a simple 20 page pdf on the niche and promote it on this forum along with JV groups on FB to get affiliates on board.

I don't really use Clickbank, I prefer JVZoo and W Plus for the IM and MMO.

Make sales, build your list, and promote other products to it.

    Rinse and repeat.

Do this a few times and you'll make a name for yourself. Once you have that, consider creating a membership site.

Admittedly, it's a little more complicated than that, but that's the general idea.

    Good luck and Cheers!

One of the simplest ways to build passive income is to set up a PLR store and sell eBooks, articles, and courses with private label rights. You can also write your own book or create article bundles and sell them as PLR. The same product will sell over and over again. You'll need to market your business and build a customer base, which won't be easy. However, it's something that anyone can do.

I already given my idea but the more I think about it the more I feel you should be looking to achieve more than $5 - $10 a day especially if you go down the route of selling as a affiliate. As long as you don't go down the route of joining something like Empower Network which is MLM by the way then you be fine.

My question to you Havias.... Do have a passion for something that could turn you a profit? Me I like to talk to people and help where I can and because of that Im building a reputation of someone who cares about people and wants them to achieve their goals and although I do this for free, I build trust and relationships out of it.

You could sell affiliate programs but how many of them are any good and how many pay instantly or daily? You find not many will. However there are a few if you know where to look....

When you talk about earning income online, most people will refer you to Fiverr or other freelance work. But, freelance work is a 'job', not passive income. The only work that is passive is where you do something now and then stop working and later generate money. So for instance, if you create blog posts (with your Adsense) and then a year later (even after you stop writing posts and promoting), you are still earning, then that is considered 'passive' or residual income. Another example is Hubpages where you publish and earn passive or residual income from ad sales made on your page. Any of these ideas can generate money even when you are not working. Your job is to locate sites that allow you to work now and then stop working and yet bring in income. Just be sure not to fall into the trap of 'working' which is common with freelancing. Freelancing is a good way to generate money right now but you have to find another customer and another and another to keep earning. If that's what you want, then go for it. If you want passive, avoid that route.

You said you wanted to make a passive income right? I would assume that you want this to be a recurring monthly income where you can make a sale once then get paid over & over. There are several affiliate programs that you should be able to do this with if you are able to get members. You''ll probably have to invest in some quality traffic or another good way to get leads 1st though.

Find yourself a couple of mentors and just copy them! Find a market and niche you want to get involved in and offer something of value for free (over deliver) and build yourself a list of prospects to leverage your marketing efforts. Key thing here is to forget about the money and just put all your focus on providing as much value as possible to your readers. Do that and the money will follow!

You can still make money on the front end by offering a product that is tied to the free offer you are giving away. Have that on the "thank you" page and be sure to add it in your autoresponder follow up messages.

Anther key point is just be yourself in your typing while catching emotions and solving problems.

Hey Havias, if you only aspire to make 5-10 bucks online you're not aiming high enough. However, if this is want you want a simple way to do this is on fiverr. If you're not familiar with this site its where you offer service for 5 bucks each and trust me once you get a little rep the money piles up! This could be a nice come up for you where after a few month you could be making 30-50 bucks a day.

    Option 2

You could freelance depending on how much time you have. Although it's effective and can easily make you your goal of 10 bucks a day, it again depends on your schedule if you have the time to sit around and write articles.

Personally I suggest fiverr and think that you should give that a try it could turn out to be really beneficial to you.

There are a lot of great suggestions. I would personally start a blog (the right way), monetize it, and build lasting traffic. But, writing is where my expertise is.

May I respectfully suggest to pick one thing that seems like a good idea, learn about it, implement it, and make it work? Once you reach your goal of $5 a day you can then pick something else to try and so on. But, it's the initial "sticking with it" that is a bigger indicator of success than the actual method.

Think about your skills and interests and choose something you feel comfortable working with, and go for it. :-)

$5-$10 a day is a very small amount and very reachable goal. You can literally do that by building a 1 page website (landing page) that directs visitors to an offer, spam your way to the top, when the site gets deindexed, 301 redirect to another domain or just use the same content on a new site. If you don't want to spam, target a few low competition kws, buy a few high pr links to rank highly and then profit. Then scale like a mofo.

I wouldn't recommend this method though.
Would rather recommend a more long term solution

    Hey Havias,

That's a great question and the answer to your question would really depend on what type of budget you have...

If you have money to invest then I would personally seek out the mentorship of somebody who is already producing the type of results you are looking to achieve...

If you lack the finances for a great mentor then I'd go to the blogs of top online marketers and pick up as many tips as you can. Before you can begin to make money online consistently you must remember to never focus on money...

Always focus on delivering value. The money takes care of itself if you do that! Hope that helps

P.S. Curious as to why your financial goal is so low?

I was also in this position a couple of months ago.

I didn't know where to start and everything was a chaos for me.

There is a lot of information in this niche that will drive you nuts if you don't have a mentor that will tell you which way to go.

My personal recommendation for you would be this one:

    1. Pick a long lasting business model: do not choose a business model to make quick cash because you are going to end up investing a lot of time for something that will not be a long term asset.

    2. Create a blog where you can establish a close relationship with your readers. The key to being successful in online business is relationships. The better your relationships with your followers, the more money you are going to make.

    3. Stick with one traffic method. Master only one traffic method and get results with it. Don't move on with another one until you have mastered the one before.

    4. Be consistent. If you want to get results you have to be consistent with daily action from 3-6 months.

Hope my advice has helped you,
    Esteban Gomez

I think that you should purchase an online course about online marketing, or read some free reports about. You will see that you can easily make more than 500 bucks a day in passive income easily. I think that online marketing is the best way to market online. Make sure that the course you choose teaches you how to build a list also. The list will help you to keep making money off of your customers after they buy from you the first time

i think using Fiverr.com or selling on ebay. Both have a short learning curve but not as long as learning to market effectively using websites

    Hey,

I would definitely say start an E-mail list.

Pick a topic that you're passionate about.

The best way to determine what you're passionate about is choose something that:

    1.You do simply for fun
2.You read about on a daily basis

Buy web hosting with Bluehost and get someone to make you a website. You can do this buy getting someone cheap on Fiverr.com or browsing around the forums and looking on the freelance sections for people wanting to make them. You will always find someone, just make sure they have good ratings.

You need to then sign up to Aweber so you can send your E-mails. You can get the web designer to make you a squeeze page and link it up to Aweber.

I suggest then concentrating on your content. I would come up with around 25-30 content ideas. You can write posts, create podcasts or how to videos using camtasia.

Make sure the content is based on personal experience and is high in value. Ensure it's unique.

Add all your content to Aweber once you've created a list.

Once you've done all that, (It can take time, be patient) then start trying to drive traffic to your site.

The easiest and most natural ways are forum marketing, guest posting, article directories, social media websites. You can also try solo ads.

Then just keep learning from your mistakes and repeating the process.

    Keep us updated!

    Thanks Joe

For $5 - $10 a day I would recommend go offline. Really. Depending in which country you live in and your neighborhood, it is kind of easy to make $150-300/month with very little effort.

Remember completely passive income needs large investment relatively to return per month. Like you buy something and you give it for rent. So it is passive but it needs investment.

I would highly recommend that first think why you want to passive income? Making money is fun. It gives you sense of achievement and some times fulfillment in life. Make money in which you are good at or not good at yet but passionate about.

Yeah, there is no easy money on the web. Fiverr is also questionable, because you have to promote your gig, if you don't you don't stand a chance. Best way is to make your own webpage about a specific niche, that gets a lot of searches on the monthly basis and has little to no competition. Then become an amazon affiliate and promote stuff through your page. And even then you have to get it to first page of google, which also requires a lot of work. But it's worth it .

For $5 to $10 a day, you ought to do what was suggested above and do Fiverr gigs, or writer articles and sell them

You need to start with "active income" that will become a "passive income" with time.
Find creative and unique online business idea that potentially can bring "passive income", develop it till you start getting "passive income" and then find another unique online business idea, develop it and so on.

You can have a zillion of different streams, there are no limits to that.

You can start doing freelancing from home and make a good amount of money. You can start working on projects like data entry, lead generation, internet marketing, etc as these are quite easier jobs to do.

Havias, if you are an Amazon affiliate already, becoming a direct affiliate to Diet Standards should boost your earnings to some good extent. The products are also available on Amazon and they sell quite well out there.

PM me if you need more info.

    Cheers!
