See pic. I got 289 clicks 7 orders. 0 earnings.

I am new to amazon affil. I got 7 clicks for sales but no earnings. Is there a delay on earnings reports.

Help me understand how this works.

    Items news to ship before you get paid, or else orders could get cancelled and you paid.
    Last spring a friend who orders every thing from me orders a $1000.

    Long story but the item was delayed shipping and alas I never did get paid for it.

    Amazon affiliate commissions are paid out of the money that the customer pays Amazon. Their credit-cards aren't processed until what they buy is shipped to them, and that's therefore when your commissions are earned. You don't get paid just for things going into people's "baskets" (but once they're in the "basket", as long as they're bought and paid for within another 89 days, you do earn the commissions then).
