How do you find affiliates?

Hello. This question is for guys who have a positive experience in selling own products, especially in Clickbank and Jvzoo. How to attract affiliates from scratch? Contact other authors and ask them to advertise or any other tips? Will be glad to listen your answers

The Warrior Forum itself now has a board where you can post your products and offers to attract affiliates - might be worthwhile checking that out.

Other methods including paying (yes, paying) well known marketers with big lists to promote your product - when someone has influence in a market: thier word is golden.

Another way is to promote to your own list - or - if you teach affiliate marketing you can promote your products to your students.

    All methods I mentioned work.

    Hope I answered your question,
    Peace,
    Gh0zt

    EDIT:

P.S - Please could you answer a question for me (as I've asked 5 warriors now and nobody is getting back to me!![quick enough lol])

How did you get the red "registed member" AND the red "war room member" under your name? Obviously you are a War Room Member so that's that one lol, but how did you get the "registered member" red text? (I'm interested in this sort of thing... hence my profile is a bit "different"... but rapidly becomming less unique as more and more warriors are copying me but there you go.

      Forget points 2 to 11.

      Stick with point 1.

Do not sell the same products across multiple platforms, if you have super affiliates onboard then they won't stick on board for long if you do that.

Selling digital products such as what we see on clickbank is about relationships with each other. If you have a big list to sell to your in the door.

What i would say is get started and do not try to make product 1 the next big thing just get sales and build that list of buyers. In 6 months time you may have 10K plus buyers list and that will give you leverage for your up coming products.

There is a very good reason why people launch product after product think about that.

Piggybacking on @Randall Magwood's list of suggestions, I'd like to add that you can gain quite an affiliate following by following-up with customers, those that purchase the product. They will be your most raving fans and those most willing to tell other people about their experience using your product.

Plan your launch in advance. Find all the names of big affiliates by looking on jv leader boards.

Reach out to them. Clean up your Facebook profile, look professional and find them there. Show them your product. If you are unknown, most will say no.
If you are genuine, a few (the cool ones) will say yes if your offer is good. Run with it.
Reality check. You won't make a million on your first launch

In addition to the ideas mentioned here for finding and recruiting reps, I wanted to point out how you would do well by having an affiliate training program for your product. This program can consist of an affiliates only email that gives tips and tricks and ideas for selling the product as well as contests for affiliates. All this will motivate your current group of affiliates.

    Hi konrud

finding affiliates is not easy unless you yourself have a list that buys from you and have promoted peoples products before.

If you have a list within a certain niche lets say making money online, since this is the WF after all then you need some kind of proven sales record so that affiliates will promote your products as well as have a good sales page and good funnel where there is money to be made.

Now allot of people will say the product has to be good but that is not true it just has to sell and have a low refund rate! Yea not many people here are gonna admit that right.

To find affiliates and start asking for their help in promotion make sure you have a few things in place. The product, the pricing for affiliates, landing page description of the product for them to sign up and some sort of experience to either convey what you are doing or what you can do for them in return.

To find them you can easily message people on forums and get chatting over skype. jvzoo, warriorplus and even looking up owners of clickbank products. Its not hard to find these people but if you're brand new then getting their attention may be.

I use to sell on clickbank years ago when make money online products were in their prime and made an absolute killing in that niche. Once you are part of a good group of like minded people its very easy to sell anything!

    Good luck.

You Bribe them or You Earn them..

I guess the third way is Organic affiliates but I wouldn't count on them.

We have found most our good affiliates form networking and events.

    Just walk up to them.

One of these types of affiliates brings in $3000 AUD a month every month, without any work on our part. That is who you should be looking for, the good quality ones. ANd treat them well, and you will be very well rewarded. I assure you.

The best way to find affiliates is by building a RELATIONSHIP with them
as NOBODY at first will start away agree to promote your products.
    It takes time..
Best way is to buy their products and give them a feedback on their products
that is how you can interact with them!

This is a good way to drive away potentially good affiliates. The only time you should consider this is if you have a multi-tier affiliate setup.

I am transitioning from the most 'non IM' field there is! I've been involved in small business funding / alternative business finance as a technologist, broker, and marketer for the last 8 years. I've decided to re-design my life to be happy so I decided to make a WSO which gives people the chance to share in the most profitable hobby I've ever had...

I've launched a solid product that's generating sales beyond my own expectations. I am still TRYING to figure out how to find affiliates. CLUELESS. But, I am managing to get a new request per day from affiliates via Warrior Payments and I'm noticing their conversion rates to my offer are actually higher than the direct traffic I generate. So, I suppose what I've learned is:

    1. Make an amazing product. I guess that's what it boils down to. My product is unique because it's entirely derivative of my passion / experience.

    2. Let the sales, reviews, and refund rates (my case $0) speak for themselves.

    3. Trust in the relationships your affiliates have with their lists to generate sales.

I'm still looking forward to learning how to get a better clue on how to connect with Super Affiliates. I have no idea how to make an intro without coming off as annoying or reaching out with "hat in hand." If you guys have further info, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

First is your product proven to convert? If you don't have any sales your not going to get any worthwhile affiliates to promote for you. Part of being a successful affiliate is knowing your numbers and successful affiliates look at earnings per clicks. If you don't have any then you need to get some.

Once you have some sales just listing it alone say in clickbank will be good because you will have a gravity score and people will look at you. Same with all the networks.

You need to do some marketing yourself and gather some data (numbers) for people to see.

1- Make a really good product that converts a hell of a lot better than your competitor's, sell it yourself and scale it in a monster way
2 Sign deals with many CPA networks.
3- Affiliates will notice you're everywhere and start looking for your affiliate program.

It's really all about product conversions and refund rates.

PS: I do not sell my own products but I know someone who does, it's all about quality.
