Can you explain the process of this for me please product sellers

Im reaching out for some guidance again if I may please
I will be launching my product on PayDotCom and will have an upsell
As I have not released a product like this before can someone explain the process to set up for me.
So I have the main sales page, I also have an upsell to include, I then also have a members area that the customer would need to be taken to a signup page to create their login details etc ...
So how do I structure this ??
When I go to set it up on PayDotCom it is asking for the thankyou page url
Would the thankyou page be the upsell page with a thankyou note at the top of the page ??
This is how I imagine it, please let me know what you think ....
1- Main sales page .....
2- Upsell offer ( Also thankyou page )
3- Member account setup page
4- access to members area
