What is best to invest in IM for beginners with tight budget?

Only ever invest money in IM when you know what to invest in. That's my advice.

Edit: That reads harsh, and it isn't meant to be. Truth is, you can blow throw $300 in minutes, and 90% of the time a newcomer will spend it incorrectly. Software is only useful if you know methods for which it can be used, media buys require hundreds / thousands to become profitable (usually). Your best bet right now is to invest in your education (free) and then you'll know.

I would make or outsource a lead magnet for the niche your working in.
Then invest in an auto responder to start your list. Add a follow up sequence.
Then invest in solo ads to get traffic to the squeeze page.(Invest some money into a domain name and hosting)
Build a relationship with free valuable content and finally promote products to the list, either your own product or ones from affiliate marketplace.

Do what I did when I started, do services! I use to make websites! Work pays, you are not going to get rich (You might) but you will make money and develop skills like selling, customer service, management, getting organized etc... Then you can scale from there.

I don't know enough about Market Samurai to comment, but I've never needed it. All the people I know who bought Bring The Fresh asked for refunds because they thought it was so bad (I'm only talking about 3 people, admittedly).

In so far as anyone can answer at all, without knowing what sort of business you want to set up, of course. But here's the thing: if you're going to be paying for traffic, $300 probably isn't nearly enough to get started anyway, so I'm assuming you're thinking of a "free traffic" model of some kind?

Mind you ... in your signature-file you're promoting something about a residual income of thousands, per month, so shouldn't you be telling us all this stuff? And why do you have only $300?

Bring the fresh will teach you how to build sites and rank them with seo. I'm not a big fan of seo, but you will get access to a community of like-minded individuals and if you focus solely on the bring the fresh methods for a while, you will learn a lot about creating google-friendly websites and tanking them high in the search engines. The owners of the product have been successful online for years and the content is updated every so often, so you won't be wasting time with outdated methods.

If you are on a tight budget product creation is the way to go for sure. IT's a lot easier than people make it seem and is the fastest way to make money.

If you need money quick SEO is the last thing you should do, you'll be living on the streets before you ever get that to take off.

If you create a good product in a niche with a lot of competition you can plug into existing networks of traffic. You can JV with people who already have the audience you need to get traffic and you can almost turn on an income stream pretty quick.

$300 bucks should do the trick

The only things that you really need are a domain, hosting and autoresponder and a knowledge of what to do with them.

One thing that I want to sure with you that is invaluable is don't get caught up in purchasing a bunch of shiny objects (Money Making Methods that seem to good to be true or do make money but won't last forever)

When it comes to making money online there are 3 business models that work 1. selling a service 2. Creating and Selling your own product 3. Selling someone else's product for a commission (affiliate marketing)

#2 and 3 are the big money makers. #1 is a great way to start earning and to put money aside for future endeavors.

There is a bumpy road in front of you but, don't be scared. You will be fine if you are persistent enough.

Now to answer your question.

Take those $300 and keep it somewhere where you can't touch it. I know it may sound harsh but this is what I would do. Leave that $300 somewhere safe and through the key as ASAP. Go and read forums where people make $ (Some people here are doing GREAT). Learn from them and try to make some friends. Don't know your background or skills but just try to learn how to work with Wordpress, read about copywrting and human behavior. Think about your natural gifts and skills you have acquired and how your could use them in the online world.

I would invest in a mentor or a coach - trust me, it's the best money you can spend.

First things first, I'm not trying to discourage you but you will probably not make a few hundred bucks in your first month if this is your first time in IM. With $300 you could easily buy hosting and an autoresponder for a Wordpress website. If you need some tools to start a blog click HERE

Bring the Fresh is a good course, you should go through it thoroughly to understand the steps to take in IM. Market Samurai is a good tool but i think you are too inexperienced at this time to use it.

You most likely wont make any money following BTF and market samurai. Trying to rank is a waste of time, focus on social and if you rank than good for you but dont focus on ranking focus on marketing.

Listen there will be a lot of people who will tell you to invest in hosting, websites, etc. I say save your money. Start on Facebook with a Fan Page (Look in my signature). If you have 300 as your startup then you can focus on keeping as much of that in your pocket (initially).

Pick something you are comfortable with that you can speak with some degree of certainty. Use a Fan Page to get your message out there. There is a huge audience that will be interested in your message.

If you don't understand web development then stay away from it (No matter what anyone tells you). It will only take away from your progress (Use web 2.0 properties if you want to put up content because it is free) and I only say that because there is no reason to pay to learn something and pay to learn it when you can go the free route first. For instance if you want to learn Wordpress then use the Free version and start a free blog or use Blogspot.com if you want to go that route.

Start up a YouTube Channel and put out content (It's free). I still believe using Facebook Fan Pages is bar none the easiest way to start your efforts. You can borrow content from all sources (Videos, Memes, Articles, gifs, etc) and populate a Fan Page.

If you want to invest in anything then invest in an autoresponder (Aweber, GetResponse, SendReach, etc) and I believe there are free autoresponders out there.

Don't just waste your money when you can use the FREE resources to build up content and monetize with (Autoresponder, Affiliate product, CPA offers) and then drive traffic to that post. So let's just say that you do a video promoting a product and share it on your Fan Page and then do a promoted post for $5 (or whatever your budget is) and get views, and potential buyers.

My suggestion is to start with something for free and use those platforms to help build up your knowledge then dive in when you are skilled enough to manage it.

Either way I speak from experience that when I first started I lost a lot money time and effort for no reason to only teach myself something that I realized I didn't like doing. I am really good at it but I let other people worry about that stuff now.

What I'm really wondering here's that if you invest in the hosting and autoresponder services, how can you get quality, targeted traffic in your squeeze page WITHOUT SEO and really start building your list? I know if you have a list then things will be much easier, but for beginners like me, I can't even build one! What's your advice?

And also, if I use free platform like blogspot, wordpress, will it affect my ranking in Google compare to other paid hosting services?

I've found there is so much to learn and so many ways to get IM either right or wrong or even somewhere in between (no mans land). I suggest find a coach with a proven model. Coaching can be Formal or Informal. Formal coaching should get you some structure by following a set course of action, written teaching, tutorials, etc. You should get assignments and reading materials too and the ability to ask questions of your coach. I would not recommend to just get books and videos with no support coaching. The feedback from a successful coach can be gold. Plus they keep you moving in the right direction. Finish a project with a coach and you will learn heaps.
Informal coaching is less structured and if you are not sure of your direction it may not be as helpful as you would want. If you find coaches on this forum just read the threads about them to help in your decision making. My personal choice would be a coach teaching your own product creation.

Investing the $300 once and then expecting $100's per month in income is not a realistic goal and you are bound to fail with this strategy.

If you are promoting affiliate programs that pay you residual income, then I would invest that $300 every single week on effective paid ads for about 10, 20, 30 weeks. Then at the end of that time, your income per month will grow to where you are earning a few grand depending on what you are promoting.

So spend $300 in your first week and then see your numbers. Then you will know how much and for how long you are going to need to invest that $300 per week.

Well set aside a budget. Your will need some money for a couple of tools such as a website name, hosting and an autoresponder. The domain will cost you around 10 bucks for the year while hosting and an autoreponder will run you around 30 dollars per month.

Making money in IM all comes down to supply and demand. Create yourself a landing page then nurture your list with good, valuable content and products.

For the start, get a domain name and hosting. Set up a WordPress blog and add content. Make sure you have a marketing plan. As your blog grows, you'll figure out which plugins and apps you really need.

Invest in some testing material. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't think that any of this stuff works. So prove yourself wrong.

Go and find a niche, get a site, get an autoresponder, and play around with lead generation and email marketing. Once you get your first lead, you will say "ok". Later once you get your first sale you will say "cool". Once you get 5 sales in one day, you will say "i know what i need to do now". Throw yourself out there and start testing. $300 isn't alot of money. Take what you learn here on WF and start implementing.

I echo those that mention domain, hosting and autoresponder. However, not a domain for any niches or market or etc etc. But, a domain for your branding. If you want to make it in this industry long term, you gotta think long term. Since you're on a small budget, check out this site - joinhoney.com. It's a tool that automatically scans the web for GoDaddy's coupon. I've used it repeatedly when registering my domains and have paid as low as S$1.24 for domains.

I would use the money to find a top affiliate program that has recurring monthly payments then use the money on facebooks ads, ppc clicks (can find several free credit offers on Google), lead service, or trying to build up your website ranking organically. Personally I think it is best to invest in keywords as 90% of people that are looking to spend anything will probably do a review on Google beforehand & this almost guarantees that you will get the best targeted traffic.

Listen with $300 its simply not enough. It will run you into the thousands of dollars to figure out the millionaire campaign.

What I advise is you test email submit offers. Email submit and sweepstakes always have a high conversion rate.

Find a good tracking solution. Select an email submit offer PM me for some high paying high converting campaigns.

Second test the offer. Don't find the cheapest traffic source. Find the right traffic source. Do not advertise a sweepstake offer on google ads. PM me and i'll give you some sources I use that you can test my costs are $0.005 - $0.01 per click.

Third once you matched the traffic source to the right offer watch it closely. Come up with different angles. Angles would be the benefits on why someone should enter their email to claim a free iphone and etc.

Fourth create a lander. Always use a lander its your presell page. Take the presell page and match the click through button with your offer. Then run it on the traffic source.

After that monitor the data and keep on analyzing.

Your costs should look like this:
$100 - Landing Page + Banner Design
$100 - Test Campaign - you will lose money
$100 - Re test campaign - if your lander and banner is good you'll earn a profit if not you'll break even.

Hi David, bluntly put, your $300.00 is going to disappear very fast unless you have a specific focus on the direction that you want to go in as it relates to Internet Marketing.

You have to put on your 'blinders' here because the learning curve is so steep that you can get distracted very easily with other IMer's products on how to make $$$ on the internet.

My suggestion: hook up with a coach who has successfully achieved what you are trying to achieve. Do NOTHING other than that and you would become successful once you take ACTION and not 'pussyfoot' around. You can search the WF for coaches. But based on this post, I am sure that they would find you.

I second the autoresponder and website advice. Provide something valuable through your website, build a list. Be ethical in how you promote things to that list and either get writing or get creating whatever else it is you can create. Work, work, work. Sorry - but you don;t have the funds available for pushbutton solutions! :-)

It looks like you are going to learn to rank website on search engine judging by what you have post, it is a good choice, as many marketers have replied on this thread earlier, the basic needs for a marketer to succeed online is domain,hosting and autoresponder although i strongly advice to saves some of your budget for constructing your websites to rank on search engine as you might need it. 3. Create a free account on get response Will be $15 a month after the trial and will scale on your list size
4. Create a webform in Get response and have get response host your form
5. Create 7 autoresponder e-mails targeting your niche with value/content and 1 or 2 affiliate offers
6. Drive traffic to your webform using free traffic methods such as forum signature
7. Build your list
8. Each week add another 7 e-mails providing value and the occasional affiliate offer
9. Repeat step 6 to 8

Main points
Choose a Niche Focus on 1 Traffic source until mastered.
