What do you hire programmers for?

Hey warriors,

I'm having a problem selling services, so far it's been a week and I've only been successful selling one service only here on Warriors Forum.

so I created this thread so you can guys give me your thoughts on what kind of services do you hire programmers to do for you?

  • What languages?

    I've hired a few before for WordPress plugin development. But, I've never hired like a "software" programmer.

    If I did, I think it would have to be for something within Adobe Air.

    • I've been thinking about getting into WP development, since it's highly demanded by marketers these days.
  • I am a programmer so I just hire myself. That way it gets done the way I want it.

    Kidding aside. In the past I have hired them and I did have good results. If you go that path stick to projects that truly save a person time. Way back in the day I paid for programs that sorted text files looking for keyword phrases and then the program would generate text links. That saved a lot of time for people back then.
