How can I promote my website?

I know this question might have been asked many times but it would be great if I can get few important tips to promote my website.

The site is designed well and has rich content in it related to the technologies that I provide services but still has only very few views. I had done some SEO but again that isn't yeilding any substantial result. Please help ....

    First of all, you need to make sure your site have the new content often (every 3 days) to make sure Google index your site well. And your content must unique also. Content is king, so that if you keep posting new useful content what are indexed by Google, your site will be famous soon in one or two month

    The next steps will belong to your backlinks

    - Forum seeding
    - Social marketing
    - Blog comment
    - eBook sharing

    Keep trying to get at least 10 backlinks/day you will something different soon.

    Just to reiterrate what david said. Forum Posting and Social Media Marketing is one of the top method I use to pull traffic to my site.

    For Social Media the best platforms are

    Facebook
    Twitter
    Google+
    Pinterest

    another option is to do Video Marketing. Create simple video and upload it to youtube.

    It really depends on your niche. If you could tell us more about the site, I could give you more advice. If you do a search on WF, you'll find an assortment of free and paid ways to get traffic. Overall, though, you need to ask yourself where your target audience hangs out, and then go get 'em.

      Thanks for all the reply ..... my website is eficaztechsol.com and it basically deals with Web and Mobile application development services. My targeted audiences are basically Business consultants and any person who is trying to develop their innovative idea.

    I have started deleting some old files as part of cleaning out my overflowing Hard Drive and get my space back. I thought of checking warrior forum and saw your thread. So before deleting this doc file, let me share the content to you. I am not sure if you will be interested on this though.

      Onpage & offpage both optimization.
      Than marketing on social media site to collect huge number of traffics.
      Write unique key word base article& marketing them on various websites.
      Post ads on classified to get real & instant traffics.

      Blogging is a great way to get noticed. Make 3 to 5 blog posts a week. Also, guest blogging and even commenting on other's blogs with help too. Just keep working at it daily and be patient.

    you can already see the post from magiclouie that it's a thorough and contains all you need. However, i will say my opinion as well. Start advertising it through social networks, start using ad words with banners, start your own email marketing campaign with an email marketing company (this will help you A LOT)

    You can start by making sure your website has "meat" and not just "bones". Meaning you need to have content that people would be able to appreciate. You also need to make sure that your website is ready for publishing. Once you have it all ready, you can then start doing SEO and Digital Marketing stuff - keywords, linking, forums, article submission, social media marketing and the rest.

    You need to have someone work with you on the marketing side and don't do it alone. Good luck!

    Focus on the content of your website instead of the SEO part.
    Google tends to look into the content more than the linking and titles.

    Also, traffic can come virally, if your content is good, most likely people will actually share it.
    SEO is just icing on the cake.

    Create a Facebook page and run some ads. Create a twitter page as well. Social media is the best way to get traffic.

    Very good. Already you did some seo. Which link did you use? Do follow or no follow link? Did you use the relevant back link? These are very important things. Here the do follow link is very important than the no follow link. You con do the forum posting, article submission, blog commenting & social media marketing.

      Couldn't agree anymore. There are too many things to do. I guess you should start with 3-4 methods and see if those are working for you. If not, then move on. Do not plan to drive traffic from 20-30 sources together at the beginning, because that way you would get distracted and chances are no one of those would work that much.

    I think that you should invest in your business and pay for traffic if you want to see soon results from your efforts... And it will be better for you, my opinion, to use techniques for building your brand through forum marketing and blog commenting for example and also pay for traffic - bing ads and facebook ads for example. Then, you should try to capture your visitors email addresses through using exit pop ups or something like that. Also build your social presence through your facebook page(build one if you don't have yet) and share your content there and also in Google+, because it is growing each and every day. And Google+ can help you a lot for your google position(it is Google product as you know and they love it more than all other social platforms).

      Working on that now and need to do more. I found atubecatcher for screen capture to do a great job. It's free, but if you like you can make a donation to the author.

    I don't really know your niche, but you certainly want to look at your competitor and find out their sources of traffic.

    Start with your potential customers. Where do they hang out? When you find, be there as well.

    If you want to get some traffic from search engines, you should research on long phrase keywords. You'll also need to post regularly on your website. High PR backlinks can help you.

    Try also some guest posting to high traffic sites and use the press release sites if you have something new to say like news, product launch, etc.

    Do a research and outsource your traffic need or hire someone. Let someone do the work for you.

    Many ways you can promote your website from ppc or buying bulk traffic i would really recommend you start with Networks like Bing for PPC or if your interested In bulk Traffic You could Use a Network Like addwebtraffic.com

    SEO is if you are doing this as a hobby. After you are able to invest in traffic and create an roi of course its smart to leverage getting organic traffic. I mean you can go for it but you need to look 6 months to a year down the road to start to get any substantial results. And thats only if you are doing your research and on page and off page optimization.

    If you want results fast you need to invest in your marketing. Learn about something like PPC or PPV traffic. Banner marketing still works very well but like anything else simply finding a site to throw your banner on isn't going to yield you an instant roi. You might go through a couple months and websites before you find a site that is generating you leads.

    Of course social networking is working very well today with sites like Facebook. It all about leveraging your efforts. Do you want to spend all day in facebook interacting and talking with people hoping to get one or two leads for free or spend 10, 20 bucks and get more views than you can shake a stick at!

    Really though, if you can build an autopilot twitter in your niche you can really dominate with traffic.

    If you're like me and you really like to utilize free traffic, you will know that you have to invest a lot of time to find out what really works. That's the catch 22 with free traffic though, but once you find that pile of gold it's totally worth it. Even if it takes you 3 months of constant work It's all about the end result.

    It's the same reason those Alaskan fisherman leave on those boats for months at a time because they make a whopping 50,000+ on some of those trips and that' a LOT. Sure they had to slave hard for a while but was it worth it? Absolutely!

    If you have money to work with, I would really try to invest in paid advertisement and really pin pointing what works the best and converts the best

    Depends on your product.. but avoid a lot of the stuff thats been said here.. as they are just prepacked marketing products others hope to stuff down your throat.. start with ebay, amazon and other major marketplaces.. then spread to pay per click, explore lead options, and then seek otu forums you might be able to pitch your product on in a social manner, if that is a success use them to drive people into facebook groups.. and lasty explore strategic partnerships and affiliate building. That would be enough to keep you busy for a year. I'm sure everyone will disagree but the ones that do generally are either looking to sell you product or have had very little recently success.. avoid SEO at first until you have found direct ways to establish the product.. once your PPC is working and profitable, then start pushing money into SEO.

    Good, already you do some SEO. you should choose the do-follow link instead of no-follow link. Because the Do-follow link increase both the Page Rank & traffic while the no-follow link increase the manual traffic only. You can do Forum posting, article submission, blog commenting, bookmarking & so on.

    Find blogs that are extremely relevant to your targeted niche and become a regular reader. Those blogs will give you access to a group of people that are already interested in your site content. When you make content, be sure that what you have to say adds value to the blog post, rather than taking it as a chance to hype your own site. In other words, become known as an expert on other blogs and it should generate traffic back to your own site.
