When I was starting I strived to get $1 for every lead I get into my sales funnel. Now I'm getting $1 - $3 average per lead.

With that numbers on my hand, I was able to afford paid traffic mostly Solo Ads

In what period of time? In one month? Per annum?

I just was wondering from a basic sales funnel what kind of success you had. Timeframe doesn't really matter to me.. I just was curious how effective a simple sales funnel can be.

I realize it is all based on traffic but I still would like to hear what kind of success you guys have had.

      Joe,

People giving answers on this public forum will tell the truth about their income - NOT

Every business should be making roughly the same amount from the funnel - NOT

Just because you make X dollars with your funnel, I should be able to make X dollars with my funnel - NOT

No offense Joe, but your question should not be used to draw any kind of conclusion about what your business should be doing. Don't use the answers you get as a standard or rule of thumb.

There are lots of different types of funnels and they are set up differently depending upon the business model and structure.

Just as an example, some business owners begin their funnel with a trip wire product, others with a loss leader, some with a self liquidating offer, others with a trial offer . . . and on and on.

Every business is different and you cannot assume that yours should be performing like any other.

      The very best to you,

      Steve

Rather than a sales funnel, consider a sales garden.

We have a Farmer's Market here every Friday, and it is always great to get local fresh fruit and vegetables.

So, there's this guy from Ohio down in Lake Worth, FL who owns a nursery/garden he grows year around.

The funnel has a bottom, a drop out point, it could be price, it could be saturation, it could be time.

A garden continues to give profits because it offers a variety of products and services to people, who have other WANTS and needs than what a funnel (very specific) does.

Learn to grow a garden for a harvest of profits for decades (customers).

It's not all based on traffic. It's based on price points, message to market match, size of the market segment, as well as traffic. I could set up the best funnel in the history of sales funnels and funnel half of the world through it, but if it's the wrong half, I make bupkus.

you know I have been telling students for years traffic is not the answer, good marketing, good information about the market first.

you can send millions of people to a webpage which is either badly targeted or badly set out and make zilch.

Get the targeting and the marketing message right and you can make thousands from just a few hundred visitors a week.

you wouldn't believe the arguments I get over that.

With a proper plan a funnel should drop them right into the next garden, which leads them down another path.

Always have a planned destination for those that drop out of the funnel where ever that point is.

This where stats and numbers come into there own.

Just got nothing better to do, huh?

Where are the action takers? Is it just me or has the ratio shifted somehow?

What is the best way to convert traffic into members? Is it just having a great offer & showing it over & over or is it just finding the right market and people that are willing to take action?
