Multiple local domain or Subdomain or Subfolders?

How are you? Hope you are doing great =)

I am about to expand my online business into regional sites. I have a confusion.

I have a main website
Example Domain, it shows just a world map, with links to regional sites

The question is
The best choice is to use:

Subdomain
uk.example.com - singapore.example.com - malaysia.example.com - indonesia.example.com

or

Local domain
example.com.uk - example.com.sg - example.com.my - example.co.id

or

Subdirectory
example.com/uk - example.com/sg - example.com/my - example.com/id


Which one is the best practice in SEO view?

Need your advice and do share us your experience

    I don't know exactly what you're trying to accomplish - but I have built a number of multisites and I always go with a subdomain - it works well.

    You can always map domains too...if you eventually decide to go with local domains.
