Anyone using Pretty Link WP plugin? Does the nofollow/noindex function work?

I'm using pretty link lite to cloak my aff links and check the nofollow/noindex box every time.
Yet for some reason, those links ARE indexed by Google. Perhaps they're followed too?

Anyone using this plugin?

  • Are you using it to cloak links going to the affiliate offers or to internal pages where you review the offers, or both?

  • Hmm... I think I see a problem... for example, I have a Pretty Link for Namecheap - and it's set to no-follow... then I looked at the source HTML for one of my webpages, it showed:

    <a href="http://benholmesonline.com/namecheap" target="_blank">Namecheap</a>

    Now, there's not a no-follow tag there, but when Google would try to follow the Pretty Link, it should 'no-follow' it. But I can't seem to find any way of testing this. The link, as quoted above, is NOT a no-follow link, so Google should follow it to Pretty Link, where it should die, if Google does indeed no-follow it...

    There are questions about that, however...
