What are your list building problems?

Hello guys,

I'm thinking of writing a series of blog posts on my blog revolving around list building.

So far this is what I've came up with:

- Why Listbuilding Should Be Your #1 Priority
- Setting up your email list, basic pre-opt in funnel and follow up series, Make sure your emails are not screwed up
- Free Traffic Methods To Get More Subscribers
- Solo Ads
- Click Banking & Ad Swaps
- Mindset when dealing with subscribers
- First Impressions - Sending your first few emails
- Increasing Open Rates & Staying Exciting To Your Subscribers
- Landing Page Optimization in 5 Minutes - Don't Lose Your Hard-earned Subscribers
- How To Get Your Subscribers To Buy
- Proper Segmentation: so that your subscribers wont burn out

What sounds interesting to you, what do you feel is redundant, and is there anything else you guys would like to learn?

Provide a real life, or at least hypothetical example. I'm talking about being very specific, not just the topic, but also your experience/knowledge on the topic, how did you find/create the initial offer, what % of people give their email address, real life stats, not just the usual bland unspecific guru level advice full of acronyms that confuses and de-motivates beginners.

Mention specific concerns/confusions we newbies will be having, then show us why these should not hold us back, actually put yourself in the position of a newbie who is daunted by the idea.

I know it's more along the sales copy thing.......... but it's good to know you could use this method to gain more subscribers or even sale to them.

Here's a list off the top of my head.
        • How to get more of your opt-outs back?
        • Creative ways to reduce opt-out rate?
        • How to increase referrals? (your list recommending others to join).
        • New, Creative ways to encourage long term subscribers?
        • Creative Ways To Give Your Emails Viral-bility? (ways to help them get passed along)?
        • Ways to make emails more personally engaging. (Gets readers more involved - instead of passive spectators)?
        • Creative ways to make my emails more celebrated ... instead of tolerated?
        * Ways to make emails more evergreen. (Creative ways to break the read and delete reflex most emails get).

That's all for now! Wake me when you're finished. - Peace!

It's a very good idea writing a series about list building. One thing I would like to know is where are the best places, and what are the best tactics for finding Joint Venture partners.

    Hi,

    Do you have any...

    ...REAL LIFE CASE STUDIES?

They work fantastic in terms of response and feedback and longevity
of your leads and subscribers/buyers and so on.

Real life examples show you are out there in the trenches practicing what
    you preach.

Anything you can think of share it with others.

I've shared my results in the past and till this very day.

And the response you get is very overwhelming.

Knowing that you're actually able to HELP others who have needs
for what you can offer is a fantastic feeling to experience.

    All the best,

    Gavin.
